The honest answer to that, was no. He didn't want to see how much she could take, in case he ended up pushing her too far and broke her. He knew his own bad traits, and he'd done his best to hide them from Dori. Well, she knew about the sarcasm and cynism but he didn't talk to her much about his 'love-life'. He didn't want her to see that part of him, the part of him that hurt without meaning too. Or sometimes, he did mean too. But the honest answer didn't fit, so he lied.
"Yeah, sounds about right."
He murmured, claiming her lips again. It wasn't strictly speaking a lie; he was enjoying this. He was looking forward to being able to do this in the future. The idea of kissing her anytime he wanted to, also appealed. But there were still those dark, lingering doubts.

"Good." She stated against his lips, tightening her arms as she pressed against him. Honestly, she knew little of his past relationships, but she'd heard rumors. But they were just rumors, right? There couldn't be that much truth to them. She'd known Tommy all her life; there was no way she would lose him because they got closer. Right?
She sure hoped so.

Tommy didn't bother to reply, just moved his lips gently against hers. He moved his hand, sliding it through her hair, the pink locks familiar to his touch. His hand moved to the small of her back as he held her close, trying to distract himself from the dark little voice in the back of his mind telling him that she deserved better.
He could be good enough.
He would be.

The warmth of him, as it often did, inticed her. Her fingers slid to the collar of his shirt, lightly scracthing at it. Her fingers seemed to have a mind of their own as one soon enough rubbed the shirt win a broad circle on his back, the other begining it's light dance at his neck as his shirt appeared to disappear. She, for her, it had.
As one finger tapped an unheard melody, as if on a piano, on his neck, the other crept to his chest, reveling in his warmth. A small groan, following the will of her hands, escaped her lips against his, pleasure in every bit of her breath.
Part of her screamed that she had been a fool to wait for this. Part of her knew it was just sweeter because she'd waited. And part of her could care less about the wait, only caring that she had him now. She prefered the latter of the three.

ooc: Livvia, you do remember Tommy's shirtless anyway? lmao.
Tommy shifted slightly, adjusting his position and arranging Dori on his lap, so she was a littler closer and in a more comfortable position. He did this without taking his lips from hers. His hand left her hair, leaving the pink locks to caress her side. He ran his hand over her ribs before it rested on her hip. He was being suprsingly careful where he put his hands, still aware of the fact that it was Dori rather than some girl he'd jsut picked up in a bar.
He was still more than content to stay with her, tangled up together but he was distracted by something. That something being his pocket vibrating.
"Mmpppffph."
He grumbled, pulling himself away from Dori, and digging a hand into his jeans to seize the offending object.
"Don't worry, it's just my phone. Nothing else."
He assured Dori, flashing a wink as he prepared to hang up. Then his eyes saw the caller ID and he groaned. Was it worth it, probably not.
"It's my dad..."
He said by way of apology to Dori, before pressing accept. He kept the girl wrapped up in his arms, but winced as he recived a large amount of loud verbal abuse.
He's not happy
He mouthed at the girl, and rolled his eyes.

((Oh, heh. Sorry. Bad memory ^.^))
Dori let him adjust her, grateful for it. It was with more reluctance, though, that she released his lips. When he pulled out his phone, she glanced at it, but returned her eyes to his face quickly, questioningly, as he brought the devise to his ear.
She couldn't help but smile when he mouthed that his father was mad. She'd seen this before. Growing up with Tommy, she'd seen and heard of more than a few times that his dad was mad at him. Eventually, it was more an amusing joke to her than anything. While he talked, she danced her fingers against his bare chest, up his neck and to his cheek, streams and swirls of colors following in their path, a teasing smile still on her face.
What's he not happy about? She mouthed back, cocking her head, slightly. Whatever it was was anyone's guess, with Tommy.

Tommy was used to his father's rage, along with his mother's silence. It was a part of life, he'd grown up with it and he'd continue to live with it for a while into the future. Even so it was still impressive.
"Yeah... Yeah.... No! That was not what-"
Whatever he was about to say was cut off before it had a chance to be said, and Tommy raised his eyebrows, before glancing down at Dori.
That is very distracting...
He mouthed to her, motioning to the hand creeping over his body and the colours twirling and following it. He caught her hand in his and rasied it to his lips, kissing the palm softly.
"Hmm? No I'm listening!"
He hurrdily assured his father, who was all to aware of his sons wandering attention. Tommy winked at Dori and then rolled her eyes. He wasn't sure how to answer her question though, it wasn't a subject he really wanted to dicuss, so he decided to turn it into a joke, trying to skip around the subject.
I've been a naughty boy...
He mouth, waggling his eyebrows suggestivley at her.

She had to work to keep her giggle silent; it was harder than she would have thought.
I'm sure you have, She mouthed back, running the fingers of the hand he wasn't holding hostage down the center of his chest, raising one of her own eyebrows teasingly.
Unable to resist herself, she freed both her hands, one now palm up in between then, the other cupped over it. When she raised the top hand, a miniature projection stood on her over hand, his face twisted with anger and wagging his finger comically scolding at Tommy. Living near Tommy all her life, she'd seen him plenty, so it wasn't had to duplicate him like this. She used to do it for their amusement so Tommy could get his own anger out at his dad without getting in mock trouble.
The miniatures mouth moved fiercely, but no sound came out as Dori held her now free hand above it, her fingers twitching as if marionette strings were attached. Her grin was big and teasing as she looked beyond her creation to Tommy. Nothing could really stop her when Dori wante to have fun or laugh.

Tommy aknowledged his fathers words, and added in the occasional pleading comment. However his attention was mostly focused on Dori, watching her with a curious expression as she freed her hands. His curiousity was soon satisfied, and he had to bite back the laughter as he saw the puppet hologram of his father scolding him from Dori's palm. He should have guessed she'd pull a stunt like that, typical Dori.
He returned her grin, unable to resist. It was hard not to laugh though, and laughing would seal his doom. His father was not in the mood for laughter.
"Look, dad. I'm going to be late for class."
Tommy observed, and after anothe roar of words was free to close the phone. He would be late for class, if he actually intended to go to his next class. Which he didn't. He placed the phone on the floor next to him, and then glanced over at Dori.
"Well, Monaco's out."
He said with a shrug.

"Monaco?" She repeated, raising an eyebrow. Her hands stopped moving when he hung up and the tiny figure disappeared. She shifted forward, back into Tommy's lap with her arms around his neck. "When were you going to Monaco?"
She watched his face curiously, a smile touching her lips, as always.

"Christmas. I was meant to be going to Monaco, but now I guess it's going to be a the same old Christmas..."
He sighed heavily, and lay back down on the ground, pulling Dori with him now she'd rearranged herself upon his frame. He'd been hoping to get away from it this year, to find a better way to celebrate. Now it was going to be all big parties full of snotty strangers, business men and socialites. Bitchy and backstabbing and full of faux sincerity. He'd just have to get very drunk... That was the only option.
"Damn."
He murmured softly, running a hand through Dori's hair.

"Yeah... I guess you'll just have to put up with seeing me over you Christmas break, as always, instead." She smiled, letting him pull her down on his chest. "You're lucky your parent's don't hide you at those sorts of things. Most parents would rather others not know about their Marked children."
She traced his jawline with her fingers. "We live in a weird area, hmm?"

"Nah, I would have taken you to Monaco with me. You can't have Christmas on your own, silly.."
He said, offering her a smile as he glanced down to meet her gaze. Her next words made him sigh softly, his chest rising and falling with the movement.
"Yeah, I guess. But I think it's just becuase I'm so damn good-looking... I mean, how could they not parade me around?"
He laughed, catching her hand and kissing her fingertips gently.

"True," She smiled, watching him kiss her fingers. "I guess I don't blame them."
She ducked her hear down, pressing her lips to his neck teasingly. "My only problem," She said against his skin, "Is that you're so damn good-looking that, while I parade you around, I wouldn't want to let you go. That would be so selfish of me, now wouldn't it..."

Tommy chuckled softly at her words, stroking her cheek gently. He could survive with that, being held onto by the pink haired princess. He was used to having a girl on his arm, whether it was just a rather stunning female he'd picked up at the party, or even Jo-Jo who was a lovely acsessory to have on your arm. Aside from the fact she had to be restrained from eating random people's faces, and bribed not to mess with the emotions too much.
"I'm sure we can work something out."
He murmured softly, though the idea of a family affair still wasn't greatly appealing. He wasn't greatly affectionate of his family, not that they had ever done something to earn it. They'd never locked him in a cellar at least. They were just... irritating.

She smiled, closing her eyes when he touched her face. When they opened, they where calm and content. Almost serene- though you could never really get the laugh out of them. She was happy.
"Yeah," She agreed, her lips curling with the slightest smirk. "I'm sure we will. I'll protect you from the big-bad rich people."
Her tone was soft, rough, and teasing. She tilted her head, as if challenging him to object.

Tommy couldn't help but laugh at her words. As if he needed protection. Half the people avoided him, becuase they were afriad he'd burn their house down or something. And he other half asked him really annoying questions, or wanted him to do party tricks for them. Which made him want to burn their houses down.
"Hah. Between you and Jo I guess that makes me the most protected, and most handsome, man in the country. Possible in the world."
He teased her, rolling his eyes at the obvious challenge in her smirk. He knew her better than that.
"Besides, you're only coming becuase you like staying in the hotel, and you know it!"
He laughed.

"Maybe I do," She smiled, leaning in to kiss him briefly. "Or maybe I just like you."
She kissed him again, longer this time, but abruptly pulled away, her brows knitting together.
"Jo?" She said, the name suddenly standing out to her. And a memory of the girl's record. "What'd you say about Jo?"

"Now what would a girl like you see in a boy like me? Oh right, the sexiness!"
He murmured with a chuckle as he captured her lips easily with his own. For a moment it was easy to forget the fact he was now having to spend Christmas dressed up, easy to forget everything- and then she pulled away from him. He raised an eyebrow at her confused expression, and the words uttered from her lips.
"Jo? As in one of my best friends, Jo? You're not telling me you've forgotten about her... I guess I never really hang out with you both at the same time. She's staying with me now after some shit kicked off with her life, so she'll be Christmas-ing in style too..."
He shrugged his shoulders lightly and then took in Dori's expression again.
"Is something wrong babe?"

Dori studied his face for a moment, then rolled off him onto her back, her hand acting as a pillow behind her head.
"Nothing's wrong." She said, looking up at the sky. "It's just that I'm not deaf. Optimistic- yes. But... There's just something about her I don't like... Sorry, I'm probably just overreacting. I mean, not every rumor is true, right?"
She didn't look at him. She didn't look at anything. Instead, she closed her eyes, taking in a breath of the crisp air she hadn't really realized was there, so close to Tommy. She wouldn't admit to being jealous- that wasn't her style. She didn't want to mess anything up, especially when it had just started. But still... She didn't like the idea of Jo and Tommy- not with what she'd heard of the girl.
