Empty.
The halls were morbidly empty. And somehow, Chewy was ok with that. She'd had to go back and get a book from a classroom for her homework- on a Saturday. It was no wonder the halls seemed so... absent of life.
But she liked that. Less people to be in danger of killing. She wouldn't have come this way alone if there was a risk. She probably would have dragged Yukai or someone along.
But there was no need. No risk. The halls were empty. The classrooms vacant.
She held her Study of Marked History book in one arm, the same side as her saddlebag back pack. Her other hand hang relatively limply, her wrist-and insignia-exposed.
It was unusual for her to where a tank top without gloves of some type, but the hall was dark and her insignia was one of the few that always was glowing showing her ability to be active. It lit the hallway easily, a soft, icy blue illumination for the vacant passage.
All variables considered, she was relaxed. as at ease as she could ever hope. And she liked it.

Kuro sat on the desk in silence. He'd left the lights off, not wanting to attract any attention to his location. He wasn't really in the mood to deal with over-curious freshman and nosy teachers. They'd been on his case ever since the incident, and flinched if he so much as touched Taira. Which got annoying.
He wasn't exactly sure why he was sat here. The boy rubbed his arm idly and winced as the pain flared. Golden eyes examined the deep scratches carved into his skin, and Kuro clicked is tongue. They were taking their sweet time to heal, presumably becuase they'd come from his sister. He wasn't entirley sure. He was just grateful she hadn't bitten him... It wasn't a good idea for the posion to get mixed up in somebody's blood-stream. Even so, he'd been avoiding her and her violent temper.
He sighed, and stood up. He couldn't hide away forever could he? He pulled open the door silently and was met with an icy blue light. He frowned slightly, untill the dakr haired girl stepped infront of him. Without thinking about her reaction, he reached out and caught her wrist. A firm tug, and he spun her into the room, kicking the door shut.
"Boo."
He whispered softly.

Chu gasped when she was tugged from the all into the classroom. She'd dropped her book, her hands curling so they resembled claws. A defensive hiss, paired with her bared teeth, made her insignia glow the slightest bit brighter.
Until she heard his voice and saw his face.
"Kuro!" She sighed, relaxing instantly. "You scared me."
She was at ease, again. When he'd pulled her in, she was turned so she was facing him, now she stepped forward, putting her free hand against his chest. There was no sign of anger on her face or annoyance. Just teasing. She'd easily gotten used to this, him pulling her out of sight from seemingly no where. They did it to each other often, almost like a game.
This time, apparently, it was his turn.
Her lips found his briefly, then she sighed.
"How're you?" She asked, slidding his hand down er wrist so she was holding his warm hand with her cold.

Kuro watched her emotions flicker and change, from defensive anger to something much softer. She taken him by suprise last time, and now he'd got her back. It was a strange game they now played, but it was rewarding. He was reminded of these rewards when ChiChu brushed her lips against his. It was a brief kiss, but it was sweet enough to bring a smile to his lips. Soon enough thier fingers were intertwined - Fire and Ice.
"Me? Oh, I'm much better now."
He declared softly, encircling her waist and pulling her closer in one fluid movement. He moved quickly, and once again he'd forgotten about his new flesh-carvings. He winced slightly.

"Now?" Se repeated, confused. Then she saw him wince when he pulled her closer.
"Did you get hurt?" She asked, her eyes widening. She looked him up and down before her eyes returned to his face and bore into his eyes. "What happened?"
She hadn't heard anything about him getting hurt. She hadn't been listening to much gossip at all, lately. She couldn't not admit that she probably would have done better to listen closer, but she hadn't thought anything bad would have happened. At least not to her strong Kuro.

Kuro swore silently in all the languages he knew, but he kept the smile on his face.
"I meant I was better for seeing you, silly."
He remarked, brushing his lips against the top of her head. He knew better than to avoid the question though, she'd end up getting the information out of him at some point.
"Hmm? Oh, my sister lost her temper at me. No big deal."
He shrugged, and shifted enough for her to see the jagged lines running down his arm.
"It takes longer to heal when it's from her. Dunno why. But like I said, it's no big deal. Just a little sore..."

She looked down at his arm, blinking as she assessed. That seemed to be what she did, whe she was taking things in. Blinking seemed to help in a few ways, at least.
She bit her lip as she looked back up at him, her eyes questioning.
"You're sure you're ok?" She pressed, running her cool hand over his wound, looking back up at him with ery close to wide eyes.

"I'm fine."
He promised her. The touch of her cold hand was soothing against the flaring pain of the scratches. If it wasn't for the pain, he wouldn't think anything of them.
"I'll get a lovely dinner for it later. But that's enough about me, how are you?"
He questioned, placing his hand on her cheek and smoothing away the stray locks.

Chu couldn't help but smile when he brushed the strand of hair away, her head leaning unconsciously into his palm as her eyes momentarily closed.
"I'm good. Nothing new to report... Except, perhaps, that I missed you." She smiled wider, stretching up on her toes to kiss him. She pulled away after a while, smiling again. "But I suppose it was worth the wait."

Kuro leaned down as she stretched up, making it easier to catch her lips. She really was his own personal drug, and he didn't think there was a rehab in the world that could shake him of this new addiction. Not that Taira wouldn't send him to every metaphorical rehab to try and get him un-hooked. That was just her baised hatred kicking in though, and that was easy to ignore.
"I missed you too."
He said softly, rubbing a warm thumb across her cold cheek. He'd seen her moving around the school, and he'd watched her like he'd always done. But knowing the touch of her skin made it so hard to not run over and steal her away from everyone. He'd forced himself to wait, and it really was worth it. The forbidden fruit always tastes the sweetest and all of that.

"Good." She smiled. It was her usual response when she was pleased by his words. She closed her eyes, again, moaning softly at the warmth of his thumb.
"You have no clue how good that feels..." She murmured, her eyes opening just barely. She smiled again, reaching up to kiss him. This time it barely lasted a second. She pulled away and smiled at him before dropping her stuff to the floor and wrapping her arms around his neck. Slowly, she pulled him over until she backed into a desk. She sat easily on the surface before pulling him back down to her. When there lips met, it was as if he was every where, the heat of his lips radiating through her. She knew better than to trust her legs at a moment like this.

Kuro watched her step back with open curiosity. He tilted his head slightly to the left, and then a smile lit up his face as she looped her arms around his neck and pulled him backwards. He allowed him to be towed towards the desk, giving in easily to her touch.
He leaned down and kissed her, feeling that so familair icy touch as their lips met. His right hand was braced on the desk on the side of the girl, while his other hand moved easily through her silky locks, occasionally caressing her cheeks.

She smiled easily into the kiss, one of her hands gliding down his arm to cup around his elbow. Her other hand knotted easily in his hair, a familiar gesture. She started leaning backward, pulling him with her.
It was all familiar- his warmth, his touch, every thing about him -and yet it felt so new to her each time. Like a feeling she had to keep renewing, but was sweeter each time.
"Kuro..." She whispered against his lips as she tried to pull him closer, though it wasn't really possible.

He could live for these, sweet stolen moments. Some part of his mind longed to tell everybody that ChiChu was his, but then there was plenty to be said for dark corners and locked doors. Secret smiles and knowing looks. As she whispered his name against his lips, the males arms slid around her waist.
It was easy for him to scoop her tiny frame off the desk, and lift her off the ground. Effortless. He did it in one fluid movement, taking her weight and then straightening his frame without removing his lips from hers. He held her tightly, arms wrapped securley around her frame.

Chu couldn't help the small laugh that vibrated from her lips when Kuro picked her up. Her legs unconsciously wrapped around his waist, securing her to him- not that she thought he'd ever drop her. In fact, she felt safer in his arms then on her own legs. The hand that cupped his elbow slid up his arm, stopping to feel his strong biceps. Yes, she trusted him completely.
((We should have Tai come in sometime soon.))

ooc: Speak the demoness's name... She will apear! Bwasha!
bic: Taira growled in irritation, and snapped the phone shut. That was the fourth time she'd rung her brother and the fourth time she'd reached voicemail. She paced through the halls, and for once there was no click of heels to give her away. She was feeling bad for attacking her brother earlier, which was partly the reason she was looking to find him. The second reason was to do with the fact she'd gotten a lot closer to Ashi and thought it would be better if her brother found out from somebody who had a chance of keeping him calm, rather than somebody else who he might call.
Then she remembered one of his sulking spots, which he thought she didn't know about.
She quickened her pace, and soon reached the rarely used classroom. Her brow furrowed slightly as she heard and muffled laugh, and without hesitation she pushed the door open. It was then she was greeted with a sight she wasn't sure she had ever wanted to see.
"Oh."
Was all she managed to say, shocked out of her usual articulation. The sight of seeing a vampire entertwined around your brother did have that effect on people...
Kuro was reluctant to break off the kiss, but that gasped word forced him to pull his lips away and turn his head. Heat rushed to his cheeks as he caught sight of his stunned sister, who seemed ot have been shocked out of any anger she had held. How long such a response would last, who knew?
"Umm... Hey Taira..."
He said weakly, looking from his sister to the dark haired girl in his arms and then to Taira again.

"Kuro, what-?"
Chu started to say when his lips suddenly weren't with hers. Chu didn't really hear Taira's entrance, or her gasp. She did, however, feel Kuro pull away and acknowledge his sister. The sight of the girl was enough for Chu's legs to let go of his waist, though they dangled a few inches from the ground.
"Taira..." She mumbled, groaning internally. This was a night mare. There was no way she could continue to keep this secret if Tai knew. It would surely be Chu's downfall.

Taira's eyes narrowed as her name was suddenly uttered by the other girl.
It seemed the sound of the voice had triggered a reaction back into the demon-child, and she was suddenly functioning again. In one swift, easy movement she stepped inside the room and kicked the door shut, reaching behind her and snapping the lock shut.
Kuro slowly lowered the girl so her feet could touch the floor once more, but he kept one warm arm wrapped protectively around her waist. His golden eyes were wary as he watched his sister.
"Taira-" "Don't bother Kuro. You're secrets out."
The harshness of her voice silenced the male, and he cast his gaze downwards before he recovered the confidence to meet his sisters dark eyes. Taira cast her glare upon ChiChu, her eyes full of icy flames.
"So what? You can't drink his blood so you eat his face? Classy move vampire."
She spat, angrily, arms folding across her chest. Kuro glared at her, but she met it easily.

Chu was shocked silent by Taira's accusation, but anger soon overtook her.
"I don't drink human blood. I never will. I don't want to hurt anyone." She said slowly, evenly. Her eyes didn't leave the other girl, her jaw set stiffly. She was amazingly greatful that Kuro was beside her. She was sure that she couldn't face his sister if he hadn't been there.
"I didn't do anything wrong." She stated, ignoring the nagging image of Eiji in her mind. Surely Taira wouldn't have her about her and him- right?

Taira dealt well with stress she liked to think. She'd had enough practise in the past, and was used to dealing with all sorts of strange situations. So even though all she really wanted to do was rage and scream and do her best to destroy... She didn't. Instead she took a deep breath and just allowed herself to hiss out one curse.
Kuro flinched at the sound of the words uttered, and Taira smirked. The words had been for his ears only, and the expression on both twins faces gave enough reason for that.
"You ever call her that again..."
He growled the words at her, shifting his stance so he stood ever so slightly in front of the dark haired girl. Taira narrowed her gaze that little bit further before spinning on her heel and moving lithely across to the room to sit on one of the further desks. Kuro watched her distance herself with a mix of emotions. He was regretful that his sister would want to put that space between them, but he was also relieved that she wasn't stepping up to the challenge in his words.
"You don't have the authority to make that promise Aikou. Oh and don't even bother trying to act all innocent, but just because it works on my brother, doesn't mean it will cut any ice with me. So don't waste time."
She said quite calmly, her tones so serene that it was hard to beleive the anger that had tainted her earlier words.
"But I am curious to know why, if you're not doing anything wrong like you claim, what's with all the secrets?"
