Mimi couldn't sleep. She'd tried to sleep, but no matter how she arranged herself, she just couldn't. She'd lain in her bed for a while, simply staring at the ceiling and trying to will herself to slumber, before she'd decided she might as well do something. Her gaze darted to the pile of metal at the bottom of her bed, but for once she didn't feel like building anything. She frowned slightly, pursing her lips as she tried to decide what she should do with herself.
An idea struck her, and grabbing her duvet, pillow and a spare blanket from her wardrobe, she ventured down the corridors. Mimi had long since learnt to avoid the security system, she'd explored the programming and discovered the code with no difficulty. It only took her seconds to be allowed acess to the outside world. No jumping out of windows for her.
It didn't take Mimi long to reach her destination. She glanced around the empty space, hardly taking in the scene. She wasn't even sure what she was doing here. Shrugging her shoulders lightly, she spread the blanket out on the ground. It would be a comfortable alternative to the springy, dew-damp grass. Her pillow was dropped onto the spread blanket, followed by Mimi herself. She wrappped the large duvet around her tiny frame to banish the nighttime chill, and settled herself down in her new makeshift bed. A contened sigh escaped her, and she wriggled slighlty to find a comfier position in her cosy cucoon of blankets.
Her gaze travelled towards the sky, and she stared up at the stars, twinkling brightly agaisnt the night-sky. Mimi had never really watched the stars before, but she didn't see the harm in trying...
ooc: lame, sorry.

He couldnt sleep. It was a usual enough occurance for the one that was addicted to the energy that kept him awake. His usual night-time wanderings had gotten him in to enough trouble already, what with sneaking over to Eastwood and breaking in, then the night-time gymnastics with Mimi the other day. Now that had been an experiance and a half. His tiny dancer, as he now referred to her, was the most amazing thing he had ever come across, and she seemed to think the same of him. Of course, there was no way he could tell what she was thinking, but from her actions, she seemed fairly attracted to him too. Perhaps that was part of the reason he wanted to see her again. Since she had parted with such a dramtic statement, Cal had much time to think about Mimi. The kiss still stung faintly on his lips, though he knew that his lips were only craving for more.
Frustration made him jump out of bed, launching his duvet across the room in a fit of boredness. He began to pace, because being confined to his room was one thing that Cal favoured little. Since the school had found out about his little stunt at Eastwood, he had been on a curfew from the school. It wasnt like they didnt already have a curfew, but his was earlier than everyone elses. Being grounded at school sucked. Glancing round the room, Cal looked for his next fix, but he could find next to no energy in the room. He had already consumed the last when he had lain down to 'sleep' and now it was really taking its toll. Closing his eyes briefly, Cal was surprised to find an image of the energy name he had created for Mimi burning bright on his eyelids.
Taking a deep breath, Cal decided that it was time to get out of the room. The room itself wasnt locked, but there were security cameras strategically placed outside his door. Before he exited, he extended his will, steaing the energy from the camera. When he walked out, the red light was fading rapidly. A small smile flickered over his lips, before he padded slowly down the corridor. He wasnt entirely sure where he was going, but he let his feet take him where they would. A cold shiver ran up him, and he glanced down at what he was wearing. A white wife-beater and soft black pajama bottoms that could have passed for trackies anyway. His feet were bare also. Shaking his head gently, he turned to the door closest to him, stripping away the energy from the alarm almost subconsciously. He was soon out in the Courtyard, and the sight was astonishing.
"Mimi? Is that you? What on earth are you doing out here... with your duvet?"
Questions splurted from his lips before he could stop them. He couldnt explain the unexpected stab of worry for the girl. Out here, she could catch a cold or something equally ridiculous that he couldnt fix, and then where would he be? Who knew. A laugh escaped his lips as he once again took in the scene before him. His tiny dancer curled up in a duvet, in the courtyard, gazing up at the stars. Such a surreal thing to walk in on, that it made Cal laugh harder.
"You are crazy..."
He muttered as he padded towards her, his feet scuffing on the ground. When he was close enough, he sat down on the floor, leaning back with his legs crossed as he had when Mimi was sat on him. He turned his golden gaze on the girl wrapped up in the duvet, amusement lighting them up just as effectivly as the energy that coursed through him.
"I should have known that impossible stunts weren't the only thing you surprised me at..."
He said, the laughter once again evident in his voice. He was surprised to see her out here, but secretly releived that he had once again found her. The urge to reach out and touch her grabbed hold of him again, and as he listened to what she had to say, he silently wrestled with the sensation burning through him... Desire.

Mimi had been studying the stars carefully. She didn't know any names or constallations, all she really knew about stars was that they twinkled at night. Oh, and something about big, burning balls of gas. She preffered the mystery that came with the twinkling though, she knew from experiance that science tended to steal the magic from certain aspects of life. She didn't want to have the magic of the stars stolen, not when it was so new to her. That wouldn't be right, or fair. Her attention was focused on the white diamonds, and she was sure there wasn't anything that could steal her concentration right now. Not that there would be anything around at this time of the the night.
She was wrong.
Her eyes opened wide as her name rung out in to the air, a title spoken in suprsingly familair velevet tones. His questions brought a smile to her lips, but that smile might have had more to do with his actual presence rather than he blustered questions.
"Hiya!"
She chirped happily, her keen eyes tracking his movements as he padded closer. Good. Closer was always good when Calhoun Blair was involved in the scenario. She giggled at his declaration of her lack of sanity, her memory recalling the similarity of his words and the words she'd named him with those few nights ago. It seemed a long time since she'd been paraded around in his arms, too long. He'd settled down on the grass near her, and she resisted the desire to climb onto his lap.
"Well, what can I say? I'm just amazing!"
She laughed, shrugging gently at his words. There was something about the way he phrased the words that kept a grin on her face. She just grinned at him, untill she noted his attire. It was a little cold for such few garments.
"Aren't you going to get cold? I don't want you shivvering again..."
She said quietly, shifting her position so she was sitting up, and opening her arms and the duvet, an invitation for Cal to join her. She hoped he wouldn't refuse her offer... She wanted to be near him again.

The obvious delight on the girls face was something Cal could not ignore. It was like a radiating presence, something that you couldnt help but smile it. Like an infection, it spread and developed and accumilated until it was like an unstopable force not to be messed with. Cal was thankful that at the moment, it was only at the infection stage, and therefore succeeded in only deepening his smile. For a moment, he glanced up at the stars, quickly naming the ones that he knew in his head. The Fisherman. The Axel. Sirius. Perhaps he could have named more, but his attention span, hard as it was to entertain, was centered around the girl sat beside him. She was wrapped in a cacoon, something of a comical image that he would laugh about later.
"Indeed you are Mimi"
He murmered, cocking his head to gaze at her unhindered by the block of his arm. His arms were wrapped around his tucked up knees, though this time he wasnt shivvering. Perhaps it was warm in that duvet of hers, but he was a man, and he would suck up the cold that nature threw at him. He wasnt going to go crawling under her duvet because he was cold. That was a most ridiculous concept that he would refuse to accept. Still, as he gazed at her, he couldnt help but notice the goosebumps that ran up his arms. They stayed for a few moments, before he banished them by releasing an invisible heat energy. Satisfied, he turned back to her.
"What do you mean, like before? I was never shivvering! I swear, when I said crazy, I meant like, a flipping lunatic!"
He teased, trying and failing to cover up the fact that he had been shivvering. Denial was always best when you wanted to tease someone, because then you would have a good basis for an argument. Of course, he didnt want to argue with his tiny dancer, but a bit of playful banter never did anyone any harm right? His attention was once again claimed by the temptress as she opened the folds of her duvet for him. It was an inviting offer, the soft quilt and cuddling up to Mimi under the stars. She didnt seem to mind him being that close. A smile flickered over his lips as he rolled forward, crawling forth on hands and knees until he was sat in the space she had provided for him.
"You never did answer my question... Why are you out here in the first place, armed with duvet and pillow. Im sure the stars appreciate the attention... but whoever heard of a slumber party in the courtyard? And wouldn't a slumber party be pretty lonely with just one person?"
It seemed that Mimi opened him up, allowed him to talk freely, tease her freely. Once inside the cacoon of her duvet, he hung an arm over her shoulders, then pulled her closer till she was by his side. A deep breath momentarily pushed her away, but she was soon back against his side. It was pure bliss, to be sat here with Mimi and not have a care in the world.

Mimi rolled her eyes and giggled as he denyed the fact he'd been shivvering. It was a pointless lie really, she'd be lying across his chest and she'd felt his shivverings. Of course, Cal would never openly admit to being cold. It all went in with male pride, denying the cold and other such trivial matters.
"Pfft. Crazy like a fox."
Was her response to his teasing of her sanity. When he didn't move, she was considering the words she could use to make him move, but before she was forced to resort to such an action he was crawling towards her. Mimi smiled happily. She didn't like the idea of Cal freezing his toes off simply becuase he wouldn't admit he was cold. Besides, despite only having a breif and and unpredictable encounter with the male, several of those moments had got her accustomed to the feel of his body. His arms and his chest, and his heartbeat. She wanted that again.
The little blonde almost purred with delight as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her against his side. It made sense, the duvet would cover them much better when they were close together. Mimi snuggled into his side, her slender weight resting on his bulk. The rise and fall of his breathing was familair to her, and she rested her head on his chest to hear his heartbeat again.
"Hmm? I couldn't sleep. I thought it would be nice to come and watch the stars. Techincally agaisnt the rules I know, but I may have hacked into the security system and deactivated the alarm so I'm not going to get caught out...But yeah, I decided star watching was in order. It's cold though, so I thought I'd stay cozy in my duvet."
She laughed softly, shrugging her shoulders gently. It was a little strange she reasoned, now she actually thought about how it would look. Of course, it had been a natural thought to Mimi, and she had seen nothing strange about it untill Cal had pointed it out.
"One is a lonely number... But I'm not alone in my slumber party anymore, am I?"
She observed happily, grinning up at the male holding her.

As soon as he was in the duvet, the outside world was cut off. It was like some secret world that only he and Mimi knew about, curled up together so that no-one would be able to find them, forever. Despite the fact that he was seventeen years old and therefore considered grown up, Cal gave a chuckle, reached over and pulled the duvet up and over both of their heads. Now they truely were in a world of their own, because now not even the stars could spy on them. A cheeky chuckle once again escaped him as he cast a glance at Mimi, before dragging her on to his lap. Once she was there, he wrapped his arms around her, holding her closer.
"And sly too..."
He murmered, though it was only an afterthought, because it was apparent that the conversation had moved on. He considered what she said, and was faintly surprised by what she said. It was so similar to what he had done, upon finiding himself on the courtyard, that a wide grin slipped across his face. They were similar in the things that they did, and that pleased Cal. Though he was a likeable guy, he hadnt ever really chosen to hang round with people because his powers had fascinated him too much. But now he had found someone that interested him far more that getting high on energy ever had. Gently, he rubbed his nose against her cheek, taking in her scent surruptisiously. She smelt good, as he had thought.
"Well then, again we are similar. I could not sleep, and came for a wander. Except... I disabelled the security cameras also... so the administrative system will be up in arms tomorrow... Have fun in class with the computers going wrong because they cant get the cameras back up!"
He said, beaming in the darkness of the duvet den. He snuggled closer to her, resting his head once again on top of hers. The inside of the den was getting hotter from their combined body heat, but it wasnt uncomfortable, so he stayed where he was. His legs curled up to support Mimi further, while his arms loosened slightly so that she could breathe properly. Another velvet chuckle escaped from him as she spoke again, responding to his comment about lonesome slumber parties.
"No, you most definatly are not"
He said, before taking the matter in to his own hands... or lips as it may be. He leant down, running his nose gently down the muscles of her neck, then dropped a kiss on her collarbone, then swiftly up her neck again to rest his head on hers once more. A grin secretly played his lips while he was out of Mimi's eyesight. He had wanted to get her back for the kiss in the gym, but he wasnt even halfway there yet, he would need to tease her a bit more first.

Mimi giggled in delight as the duvet was thrown up over her head, encasing her and Cal in their own secret little world. A world that smelt of flowery perfume and the strong, masculine aroma of Cal. It was an interesting combination, and Mimi decided that it was the perfect scent. She was more than content to be settled on his lap, which was fast becoming her favourite place. She leant back against his body, as his arms wrapped around her. She was surrounded by Cal, and that was just fine. Nothing else mattered. Nothing else existed at that moment. It was just him and her. Together.
"Not really. Who do you think get's called up to fix them all? It is my special talent afterall..."
She grinned, allready decding how she could use this to her advantage. She had a habit of crashing the systems so she was summoned to restore them, allowing the blonde to install certain back-door features which allowed her easy acess. Mimi was an expert hacker, and she had no qualms with using those skills to her own personal advantage. It was getting nice and cosy under the duvet, as their combined body heat was enclosed. It was not yet stifling though, so Mimi remained happily where she was. She didn't think she could be any happier at that moment in time.
Then she felt Cal's lips on her collarbone.
She gasped in suprise, but it was a happy gasp. She wasn't sure how he'd reacted to her parting gift the last time they'd met, but now she had a much better idea. She turned her head to try and catch his lips, but found they were allready gone. His head was resting on hers once more.
"Hey, no fair!"
She declared, pouting as only Mimi could truly pout. She had long since mastered the art of the perfect pout, and when she shaped her expression like that, there were few that could resist. Mimi was pinning her hopes on the idea that Cal would not be among those few...

Her giggle of delight was joined once again by his chuckle as he hugged her tighter. He didnt want this to end, and even iuf he had to steal the energy of the sun so that it could stay night, he had to. For a moment, Cal considered actually doing just that. That amount of energy would probably kill him, but perhaps he could chanell it through him and in to something else so that he could use it later, a gemstone perhaps. The plans were getting out of hand when Mimi spoke again, bringing his attention back to her. For a moment he had actually considered stealing the daytime away, but that would be aweful and he knew it.
"Im sure you have many skills Mimi!"
He tease, his hands squeezing her a little tighter once again. His fingers traced circles on the smalls of her back, first small then larger until his fingers were tracing patterns all up her back and down again. It was theraputic for him, to have something to do with his hands. However, Mimi once again surprised him by telling him he was no fair. He knew exactly what she was talking about, but as he glanced down at her, the words that had built up in his throat melted away. On her face was the cutest pout you had ever seen. His face suddenly grew very serious as he shifted for a moment, then lifted Mimi back up so that her face was level with his.
"Im terribly sorry Mimi... Is this any better?"
He asked, before leaning forward and touching his lips to hers. For a moment it was hesitant, then as he got more confident, so did the kiss. His hands slid rapidly up her back to her hair, cupping the back of her head so she could move. The other hand slid back down again, holding her to him firmly but gently. She had npo escape, but by this time, he was sure she wouldnt want an escape. For a long while he kissed her, before he had to break off and breath. He took a deep breath, a chuckle once again escaping his velvety lips as he glanced at her, golden eyes shining.
"I hope I didnt disappoint you..."
He murmered, stealing another kiss. This one was short, but it still held the same meaning, the same intent. His cheeks burned, as did his neck and ears, but he pushed that aside. It was dark in the duvet den, and she couldnt see the blush that he struggled to contain. It was most... womanish to blush.

Mimi almost crowed with delight. Like many, he had fallen to the unmistakebale power of the pout. A true pout. She'd seen people trying to imitate the art of the pout, but they were fake and trasnparent. They were simply not harnessing the power properly. Once you mastered the pout, the majority of the human race was putty in your hands. She didn't have much time to muse over her victory, for Cal was leaning down towards her and she was trying to remember to breath.
When his lips touched hers, she couldn't think straight. She didn't know if she could even think at all. Who needed to think? Thinking was inportant. What was important was the fact Cal was kissing her. It was very hard to remember how to breath. For the craziest moment Mimi thought she might faint, until she reminded herself that she didn't faint. She kept her hands around his neck, fingers playing with his hair. She was paralyzed in the ebst possible way, Cal was like her new center of gravity, holding her in place.
All too soon it ended.
Mimi gasped, and took a deep breath. Her head was spinning slightly, and she still couldn't think straight.
"Wow."
She murmured softly, unable to raise the volume.
"No, that was very... good."
She said, her words inadequete, but they were the best her dazzled mind could come up with. She'd pouted for the kiss, but then it had burned her like fire. The good kind of fire, that she was sure of. She smiled, assuming she looked quite like a fool, but she didn't mind. She was happier than she'd thought to be possible, and soft pressure of his lips against hers for a second time only increased that pleasure.
"I guess I am lucky then..."
She whispered, recalling her parting words to him at the gym with a smile. Oh yes, she was lucky.

The atmosphere in the den was getting too hot. The combined body heat of Mimi and Cal was becoming uncomfortable and stifling, but what did he care? A cheeky grin flickered over his lips at the thought of her kissing him back, his hands moving to support her back gently once more. As was his, her breath was ragged and strained, but that was probably the after-effects of the kiss. Just to prove his point, he pulled the duvet further down, because it was beginning to fall back around them. He was far too happy in his little sanctuary with Mimi to let a stupid thing like that get his his way. Now that he had kissed her, it was like an addiction. He turned back to her, showering her lips with gently yet persistent kisses, occasionaly venturing to her neck region. He was quick to go back to her lips though.
"I can assure you that I am the lucky one"
He murmered, his lips once more against hers. He couldnt stop, even if he wanted to. It was the same as his energy addiction. Once he'd had a taste of it, he knew he had to have more, or he would surely die. A grin slipped over his lips as he teased her once again, nibbling her lip and then kissing it better. Red hot fire was beginning to seep around his body like fiery tendrils that had him in his grasp. At last, the heat was too intense for him to stand. With a chuckle, he pulled back the duvet to reveal the blindingly cold night. To an outsider, the plume of hot air that was released in to the night must have been tremendous, like they had been smoking weed or something and had only just thought to release the fumes.
"My tiny dancer..."
He murmered gently against her neck, hugging her closer in his vain attempt to make them one, instead of two people. It didnt work of course, and he couldnt hold her this tight for long because the girl needed to breathe. But the intense need to have her beside him was something he couldnt ignore. Playfully, he nibbled her ear, allowing a velvety chuckle to escape down her ear at the same time. For the moment at least, he could be happy.

It was getting very hot under the duvets. Mimi never liked to feel the cold so she had made sure she’d got a big, warm, fluffy one. Which was perfect for when winter crawled in and tried to crush people in its icy embrace, but wasn’t really fitting when you were wrapped up beneath it with another person. She could feel the duvet beginning to slip, but so did Cal for he quickly pulled it back up to keep them both enclosed. She returned his grin, and held his face in her hands as he showered her with kisses. Sweet little kisses, that couldn’t last forever but she wished they would. She didn’t want him leaving her lips, even though the touch of his lips on her neck was certainly very nice. One hand ran through his hair, making the dark brown locks wild from her touch, as she combed them with her fingers into an odd array.
“Lucky, lucky, lucky…”
She murmured against his lips, managing to slip the words out between the peppered kisses. Her skin was growing warm, and it was beginning to get uncomfortable but the chill suddenly struck her as the duvet was thrown back. The night hadn’t seemed that cold before, but she assumed she’d hadn’t been that warm before. She gasped in the fresh, cold air. It was refreshing, if not freezing. She frowned a little as she caught the words spoken against her neck. They didn’t make much sense to her.
“Tiny Dancer?”
She queried the nickname, as she snuggled up against him. His strength was shown apparent as he held her close, the iron hold of his arms would be unbreakable. She couldn’t escape if she tried, not that she was trying. Never mind jailbreak, she’d be the girl undermining the system by sneaking in to the jail. Now that wasn’t a bad idea, really it wasn’t. It would be quite fun to sneak in, mess around with all their security and what-not, and then escape. Mimi would find it easy to break free from jail, she was confident in that. Just as well really, seeing as if all went wrong with the Hive she could end up there. Or dead.

Gently, Cal ran his nose down her cheek and then on down her neck. The cold was like a slap in the face, but it was soothing as he cuddled her close though not firm this time. It was a sweet cuddle, you know, the ones that you see all the time and think; awh thats cute. Cal could not keep the grin off of his face as she kissed him back, murmering words against his lips. He didnt care for what they were, only the vibration on his lips told him that she was speaking. He didnt give her chance to speak again until the duvent had been ripped off, and he lay, panting for breath against the cold night air.
"They was you move, you're like a little dancer..."
He answered her query with a twinkle in his eyes. The heat was nothing compared to the cold outside, but Cal still felt too hot. For a moment, he considered taking off his top again, but that wouldn't exactly do much, since the top was skin tight anyway. He pulled Mimi against his chest, gently kissing her forehead. The wind whistled past as they lay there, and then Cal was up, leaping to his feet like something had stung him in the bum. The twinkle had returned to his eyes as he cast a glance around, then turned back to Mimi, holding out his arms, an open invatation.
"Come here..."
He murmered gently, though sure she would come to him. He had had the brainwave of the century and he wasnt going to do it without her. Still, he needed her co-operation to do it. The grin spread quickly over his lips at the thought of what he was going to do, it was brilliant, if he did say so himself.

His words made her smile grow further. It was perhaps vain and shallow, but Mimi took great pleasure in compliments. They just made her... happy. The same way a careless comment could shatter her concentration, and make her feel empty. Cruel critisim could drain her emotions and leave her feeling empty and useless. Compliments filled her, inspired her. They made her complete. Mimi knew it was superficial, but it didn't lessen the felling of joy everytime she was praised; even in the slightest.
She snuggled against the boy, enveloping herself in his warmth rather than the cold of the night. She pressed her lips to his chest, thrilled with the fact she was this close to him. He was hers. Or at least, that's how she saw it. Mimi had a territorial streak within her. Mostly it was shown in the zealous way she defended her creations, and her car. Nobody else was allowed to drive her car. It was just off limits, it was hers. God help you if you damaged it though... Now Cal had been added to her list of possesions. He was hers, whether he knew it or not. She would hurt anybody who tried to take him away. She'd kill them if nessecary, Hebi would approve and she was good at destroying evidence...
She yelped slightly as Cal jumped to his feet, making her fall backwards untill she caught her balance once more. She frowned up at him in confusion for a moments, and then he extended his arms. She smiled again.
Jumping to her feet, she scrambled free of the duvets. Now standing there in her nightclothes, which consisted of a a pair of balck tracksuit bottoms and black zip up hoodie. Yes, Mimi wore her hoodie's to bed, it helped keep away the cold. Which came in handy with these random situations she got into. Also, she had learnt to be ready to leave within seconds of waking. Jump up and run, so the hoodie helped there.
"What are we doing now?"
She questioned, walking towards him with curious eyes.

The surprise on Mimi's face was comical. A velvety chuckle escaped him as he held out his arms for her, waiting for her to either leap up in to the, or if not, for him to scoop her up immediatly. It felt strange to have her away from him, considering the moment they had just shared together. In the vain attempt for her to do what he wanted, he gave a mock impression of a pout, though he knew he had failed miserably. When she asked the question, that cheeky grin flashed over his lips.
"You'll see..."
And with that, he rushed forward, scooping her up in to his arms and gathering up the duvet and blanket at the same time. For a moment, he considered how to carry both of the sucessfully, then moved round so that the blankets were against his arm and Mimi lay on top of them, still in his arms. He looked down at her, then gently planted a kiss on her forehead. Another chuckle escaped him as he quickly stole some energy from the ground using his feet to take it. Before a moment was gone, his speed was once again up and his muscles almost vibrated with energy.
"Hold on, tiny dancer"
He murmered against her cheek as he planted another kiss there. Taking a deep breath, he gazed at Mimi for a moment, before he turned. It was graceful, even with Mimi and a mountain of blankets in his arms. He sprang forward, running as fast as he could towards the tree. He quickly leapt up the tree, landing for a fraction of a second before he launched himself back towards the building. He wasn't going to make it, so he hit the wall of the building, rebounding back off to hit a higher place on the tree, then again flew towards the building. This time, he got to the place he wanted to be... the roof. Still holding Mimi against him, Cal kissed her on the lips once, then glanced up at the sky.
"How do you like the veiw?"
He whispered in to her ear before he set her down, taking the blanket and setting it on the ground. He threw the pillow down, then shook out the duvet so that it fluttered gently down to rest on the blanket. Then, he turned back to Mimi, taking her in his arms and hugging her firmly against him. She wasn't going anywhere, not whilst he had a say in it.

His attempt to pout made Mimi laugh, it wasn't up to standard. She'd have to teach him, but he just didn't have the cute factor. Not like her, she was little and blonde and full of wide eyed innocence. The pout was natural to her, it wasn't to him. Still, he could improve even if he didn't master it. She was about to show him the correct way to pout, when he darted forward and she was scooped from the ground along with the blankets. She smiled up at him, getting used to this whole, 'being swept off her feet' thing they now had going.
"Okay."
Was all she said, wrapping her arms tightly around him. She knew he wouldn't drop her, but she'd take the open invatation to cling to him. As he moved at that high speed, Mimi suddenly remembered she really did need to cling to him. She burried her face in his chest as they moved, bouncing from tree to building. She didn't want to see the ground being taken away, so she kept her face hidden, feeling the wind rush past them. Once they landed, Mimi lifted her face in time to catch his lips with hers. She turned her face from his when their lips seperated, trying to decide on their location. It was higher, and it was also level... It clicked in her mind suddenly. The roof. He'd jumped her onto the roof.
"It's amazing. Kinda too dark to see it, but amazing none the less!"
She laughed, wrapping her arms firmly around his neck as he hugged her close. Her eyes closed and she inhaled deeply, breathing in the scenet of him. This was one of the moments she'd always treasure, the kind of moment that she'd summon up when she was feeling sad to banish away any sorrow. Only happiness.

Higher up, the wind was a little bit more brutal. Though it was said to be warmer the higher up you went, the scientist obviously got that one wrong. It was freezing up here and though Cal was well used to the cold, he thought that perhaps Mimi wasn't. When she spoke, another velvety chuckle escaped him and she held on to him, snuggled up against him in the cold. So maybe she did feel the cold like he did. A small sigh escaped him as he held her against him, breathing deeply.
"What are you talking about, its not dark at all! Mimi needs her eyes testing!"
Cal teased, touching his nose to hers as he gazed in to her eyes. The smile quickly slipped over his lips as he poked his tongue out, touching her lips with his tongue. Another chuckle and he let her go. Darting back to her, he kissed her quickly, almost roughly in his attempt to be swift. It was over in a moment but his lips still stung as he darted backwards, teasing evident on his face.
"Come and get your kiss Mimi... its waiting for you!"
And with that turned and ran. He ran at normal human speed, at least giving her a fair chance at trying to catch him. When he got to the edge of the roof, he launched forward, landing on his hands on the edge of the building. A perfect handstand held him in place, his legs swaying as they tried to remain balanced. The laugh escaped him freely as he waited for Mimi to catch up with him, still above the edge of the roof.

Mimi giggled as he teased her about the darkness, not bothering to protest. Maybe everything was just dark because all she could focus on was him. His eyes, his cheeky grin. Oh she loved that grin. She wasn't sure she could go even a day without seeing it now, becuase it just made her smile. Even after their first meeting, she'd climbed into her bed that night and just recalled the image of his grin, and she'd dirfted off into happy dreams...
Her thoughts were shattered by his quick, rough kiss planted on her lips. His arms were suddenly no longer around her and he was running across the roof. Slowly, at a speed she'd find easier to keep pace with. Though the natural length of his legs and stride were an obstacle in this idea of a fair match. However, she did want her kiss and she knew how to get it now. Laughing, she took off after him, bare feet slapping on the cement as she raced after him.
"Come back here!"
She called after him, though she came to a halt when she reached the roof's edge. Her eyes widened slightly as she took in his form, balanced on his hands at the edge of the building. For a moment she was worried, then she remembered all his previous feats and the worry was replaced by laughter.
"What are you doing? You nutcase!"
She demanded with a giggle.

Their laughter rang out in the night air, intertwining and rising higher and higher, detaching itself from them and dancing across the sky like two stars, forever together. The cold air made their laughter burst forth in billowing clouds of steam. Considering the fact that he was upside down, and the age old theory of heat rising, Cal's breath was billowing downwards for him, a virtigo inducing experiance. But what made him jolt was Mimi's voice behind him. With the blood rushing to his head and a smile on his face, he didnt realise his hand slip and his legs jolt until the same hand slipped off the building. For a moment he almost fell, but Mimi bought him back to reality. He bent his arm, flexing the one the remained on the building before he jumped off, flipping upright as he did so. For a moment, he stood in front of Mimi, then leaned forward, kissing her as gently as he could.
"Still can't catch me!"
Cal murmered against her lips, his hand coming up to brush a lock of hair back from her face before he was off again. This time he ran backwards, his bare feet skimming across this cement of the roof in the same manner that Mimi's feet had slapped the cement. His laughter rang loose again while his foot caught on the panel of the roof, throwing him backwards. It was good that the male had a good reflex system, for he simply caught himself with his hands, springing back up at if nothing had happened. When he reached the duvet that he had laid on the ground, Cal gave a little chuckle, before dropping down to a crouch. For a moment, he looked almost dangerous, his eyes glowering at Mimi, his lips pulled back to reveal his teeth. And then the smile hit him and all images of danger were gone. He was a hunter and she was his prey, but no harm would ever come to Mimi by Cal, that just went unsaid.
"I'm gonna get ya!"
He whispered, hoping that Mimi hadnt heard him. However, Cal didnt move as he waited for Mimi to come towards him. Instead, his hands gripped the duvet that he was crouched on, that same cheeky smile lighting up his face. His eyes twinkled for a moment as he waited, biding his time.

Time seemed to slow down to an awful pace as Mimi saw him slip. She gasped, her eyes widening in horror as she saw his position wobble and waver. He was going to fall, she was sure of it. The image of him tumbling towards the ground in a sickening free-fall haunted her mind. However, even as she stretched out in a feeble attempt to keep him safe on the ledge, Cal caught himself. Time flowed easily once more as he flipped his form to safety, landing before her.
She pressed her lips eagerly to his, filled with the relief that he was still very much alive and not lying broken on the ground below. However, too soon he flew out of her grip again. She spun intime to see him slip, then catch himself a second time. She didn't move as he made his way towards the blankets, she simply followed him with her eyes. She shivvered slightly on the cold, and glanced towards the sky. When she returned her gaze to Cal, she was slightly startled by the expression on his face. He looked...Wild. Dangerous. Like a creature of legend and myth that stole your soul... Then he smiled and he became Cal once more. Warm, goergus, familiar Cal.
"You never scare me like that again, y'hear?! No more stupid handstands on roof's!"
She demanded, her eyes flashing dangerously as she spoke. She stared at him for a moment, as if challenging him to challenge her words. Then she smiled again, and ran towards him, pattering across the concrete, eager to be back in his arms.

Her scared voice seemed to shock him like crazy. Like one of his own lightning bolts it ran through him, it shook him from the tips of his hair to his toes. At once he understood the importance he had for her, the exact reason she was here with him. It wasn't hard to comprehend, but it still sent the shockwaves through him as he crouched on the duvet, waiting for her to arrive. Before a moment she was rushing towards him and it only took him a fraction of a second to realise that he was moving swiftly towards her too.
"I'm sorry Mimi... I'm sorry"
He murmered gently as he took her in his arms, huggin her against him again. She wasnt leaving him anytime soon, he was sure of it. The tiny girl in his arms felt like nothing, like a feather weight as he pulled her quickly back towards the duvet. For a moment he stood on the edge, before he collapsed down on the duvet, pulling it around both of them and over their heads once again. The night air was cut off once more as Cal set the tiny girl on his lap, tracing her face gently with his finger tips.
"I'm sorry..."
He whispered before he pressed his lips so gently to hers that he doubted she would have felt it. All at once, he was caught, trapped by Mimi. And the scary thing was, he didnt want to get out. He didnt struggle as some people did. He knew what he was here for now. He was here for Mimi and Mimi alone. No harm would ever come to her and he would make it his personal goal. He itched to say the three words that would make it final, but he held his tongue, kissing her again and again until the lack of air was beginning to make him dizzy. When he couldn't breath he held her close instead, breathing in her scent. He could stay here forever... and he would if he could.
