Mimi might have considered the scene of them running towards eachother like that to be a tad cliche. However, all she could think of was him. The fact he was safe and alive, and that he was running towards her. Her arms wrapped tightly around his neck, as she clung to him. His arms held her just as close as she wanted to be, as she inahled the scent of him. He was here. He was safe. She was safe with him. Mimi was hardly aware of him stepping backwards, she only focused on him. The male she was now lucky enough to wrap her arms around, who would be her's to hold whenever she needed him. Mimi finally looked up when the duvet once more covered them, and nodded slowly to his whispered words.
Then thier kisses said anything and everything else that was there to be said for those few moments.
He stole her oxygen and her ability to think, wiped away her previous fears and replaced them with a light hearted dizziness Mimi quite enjoyed. His kiss was like a pill, designed to to change the way that she felt. For every heartache, his kiss held the cure. That was the way it seemed to Mimi, and for the moment she was lost. Then he pulled his lips away, and she hurrdily gasped in the much need oxygen she'd be so sweetly deprived of. Then it rushed back into her system as she lifted her eyes to him once more.
Curling her hand into a tight little fist, she thumped him as hard as she could on the arm, her eyes flashing again.
"Never again!"
She warned, her eyes glittering as she stared feircly at him, and then she flung her arms around him once more and pressed her face into his neck, inhaling deeply once more. She never wanted to let go of this, not ever.

Her kisses seemed to be just as urgent as his. It was like she wanted him just as much as he wanted her, but that couldnt be possible. How could she want him the same amount. She was gorgeous and he was what? Nothing special. Still, if she would throw herself at him like this, what could he do? The thought sent a smile across his lips as finally their kisses came to an end. For a moment, they were silent, before Mimi's tiny fist came in to contact with his arm. He laughed gently at the vain attempt to hurt him before he took hold of her fists, kissing both of them as she spoke.
"Never again..."
He agreed in that very same murmer. His hands ran swiftly down her back as he held her close. Once more it got hot and he considered throwing the duvet back to let them have fresh air, but he stopped, a goofy grin on his face. There was no reason for it, but he felt like he could do with one of those goofy grins, so he did. Leaning forward, he breathed gently in to her ear, murmering in almost a whisper.
"I love you..."
His words were as light as a feather, but Cal didnt know what effect they would have on the tiny girl on his lap. Still, the words had to be said and if he didnt say them, then he just might explode. And that would be a bit of a disaster!

A harsh wind began to blow about them as they lay together on the roof. His arms tightened gently around her, his head lain against hers to keep out the wind. His brown hair ruffled violently in the wind, but he didnt care. As long as Mimi was happy and safe, and warm for that matter, that was all he cared about. She raised her head up slightly and spoke a word before a yawn gripped her. Her eyes were heavy with sleep as she returned his declaration. A chuckle made her bounce for a moment on his chest before she settled back down, head resting on him again.
"Sleepy Mimi... Go to sleep my tiny dancer"
He murmered, almost whispered in her ears. Gently, he began to hum a lullaby, making it up as he went along. For almost half an hour he hummed gently to her until he was sure she was asleep. Fast asleep. Making sure she was out, he gently wrapped the duvet tightly around her and off of him so that she was easy to pick up with the duvet wrapped around her. Very gently, he held her against him, standing still for a moment in case she woke. Once she was again sound, he walked quickly to the edge of the roof. Getting down without waking her might be a bit difficult. Taking a deep breath, Cal jumped.
He quickly manipulated the energy around him, slowing down so that he almost floated. He hit the ground gently, though a jolt ran through him and he was scared he had woken her. A quick check to see if she was awake and then he was off, towards the girls dormitory. He would return her then go to bed himself. Slipping in to the building was easier than he thought, most likely because Mimi had left the locks off. She was clever. A smile crept over him as he slowly walked through the hall, glancing at every door. For a moment, he was lost, and then a bright light jumped out at him. It was her name, emblazoned on her wall. The name he had made her. A grin slipped over him as he walked in to Mimi's room.
Laying her down on the bed, he tucked to duvet around her, making sure to brush all the bits of metal that had accumilated at the end of her bed away. He chuckled gently, before he turned back to the sleeping girl. A tenderness entered his eyes as he gazed at her, and for a moment he considered climbing in to bed with her and falling asleep there. But that wouldn't work so well in the morning, when he tried to get out without anyone seeing him. Sighing, he leaned down, kissing her forhead whilst brushing her hair away. Touching her nose with his lips one last time, he turned and left the room, quickly shutting the door behind him. It was time for him to go to bed as well. END OF THREAD
