Summer waved away Tsuki's fears about not being wanted or accepted, with a shifting movement of her hand as it cut through the evening air. As far she was concerned, that was a seemingly ridiculous idea that didn't need to be considered. Tsuki would be accepted.
"Miranda will probabbly fuss about you like a mother hen though, she's way into the nurturing. She'll just smother you in food and hugs and presents I think. Luke's not so bad, but he can be a little over protective, especially over Greg and Tina. Tina will demand that you make her icicles though, while Greg will challenge you to a video-game down show-down..."
A smile spread onto Summer's face and it was echoed in her voice as she spoke about her family. The warm memories came flooding forward; creating sun orbs in a powercut, playing hide and seek, big cooked dinners, DVD nights, reading by the fire... She'd never felt lonely, and had always been part of the family, considered to be one of the children even if the documentation didn't label her as such. She was sure Tsuki would love it too..

Tsuki smiled and looked down.
"You should know that I've been through it many times before." Her voice was soft, soothing. This might be harder to get through her twin's head. "Mostly I hid for a while so they'd get to know me, but they always sent me back. Sometimes I said it flat out, and they tried keeping me for a bit. But the fact that I'm depressed during the day and can never really keep myself inside at night always got to them. I don't expect any promises; Just make sure it's ok with them before anything... too big, happens. Aside from what already has."
She smiled as she reached out and took Summer's hand. She was just happy to have found a sister.

Summer nodded her head slowly at Tsuki's words, reaching out to take her hand. She squeezed the pale hand tightly, still silently marvelling at the fact she had a sister.
"Oh, I've got a llot to ask them I guess..."
She said softly, her mind brimming with questions. She wasn't sure how she should ask them, if it would be safe to meet them face to face. What if she lost her temper, or the answers scared her? She could hurt them; she could kill them. However, they didn't seem to be questions she could ask by any other method. Not by phone or email, so it really had to be face to face. Night then, when she was weaker...
"It will be fine."
She said confidently, but she wasn't sure who she was telling this fact to. Who was she trying to reassure, Tsuki or herself?

"Of course it will," Tsuki smiled, then looked down at their hands.
"I guess I should explain what mine meant... What I think it does, at least." She took a shaky breath and looked back at Summer's face. "Maybe we should go to my room. It's late... and my roommate isn't here, tonight. Ok?"
It was true; Venus was down in the tunnels of the Hive, doing some late-night war meeting, or something. Which wasn't really all that out of the ordinary.

Summer felt her powers rising as the topic was raised again. Some instinct triggering her to defend herself, to fight. She supressed it. She didn't want to fight, not now. Now she wanted to feel the sun on her face and be certain that it was going to be okay. The moon didn't make her feel empty right now, but it certainly didn't comfort her. It was cold and distance, a far cry from the sun's warm embrace.
"Oh. Okay, sure. Sounds good."
She said offering a shaky smile as she climbed to her feet. She wrapped her arms around her stomach, as if she could mimic the suns embrace. Hugging her own frame didn't provide much comfort, but it gave her the impression she could hold herself together.
"I guess there's a lot to talk about..."
She added, walking slowly towards the dorms.

"Yeah, a lot." Tsuki agreed, letting out a low breath before standing and following Summer. The night seemed to whisper that a touchy subject was coming up. She would have to betray the Hive- but did she have a choice? Summer knew too much, already. She knew an attack- a war -was coming. She knew that Luna knew something, and it would only be a matter of time before she had to know, anything. And plus, if they worked together they were likely to help, but if not...
She shuddered internally at the thought.
They'd reached the elevator of the girls dorm, the halls, luckily, empty. She pressed the button for the second floor.
"Sorry if my room is unreasonably clean... My roommate is blind and threatens me if I leave anything out for her to trip over." She explained as the elevator rose.

"Really, you have a clean room? My rooms is messy as hell. I can find everything though... It's all on the floor."
She tried to lighten the tone slightly as the elevator asecended but she could feel it all pressing in around her. Something bad was creeping up, threatening to smother her. The lights in the elevator dimmed slightly, and the tempreture began to slide downwards. Summer hugged herself tighter. She hurried out of the lift the moment it had stopped, and the moment she was in the corridor, the few lights that were actually on dimmed. Summer took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down before she caused a blackout. She glanced back at Tsuki apologetically.
"Sorry... I can't control it."
She said breifly, guesturing to the dimming lights with a tilt of her head and a sad shrug of her shoulders.

"Wow. I can rarely find anything. Imagine having to ask your blind roommate where your shoes are. It's not the best feeling..." Tsuki trailed off and looked up at the dimming lights curiously in the elevator. Odd. When they got into the corridor and the lights dimmed, again, she bit her lip, troubled. But at Summers words, understanding lit her face.
"It's ok," She smiled, trying to convey that she understood. The prophesy had said that they'd need to learn greater control, right? It wasn't really all that surprising. But she could tell that it troubled Summer- or maybe she could just tell that something less than great was coming. Either way, she felt the need to comfort her twin. "It happens to me all the time. The people on my floor are used to it."
She guided the uneasy girl to a plane white door that had the sticker of a bee near the top right corner- out of site, but recognizable to anyone in the hive. She easily turned the handle- Venus hating locking it and having to deal with keys -and stood back to let Summer in first.
It was clean, as she'd said. But the walls had posters of bands like Three Days Grace and the All American Rejects covering them, along with a few pictures and poster that had the moon as the subject. The window was wide open, letting the crisp night air in. One of the beds was plane and white- Venus's - and the other had a waxing, waning, crescent, and full moons covering it with pillow cases to match- both made well. The couch was like all the others at the school- white and fluffy. On the computer desk, beside Tsuki's laptop, was a wooden chess board with little glass figures on top.
"I guess it's no secret the I like the moon," she murmured as she let Summer in and look around. She felt almost embarrassed by her obsession.

Summer smiled appriciativley at the comment, grateful that Tsuki understood to some extent. The blonde always felt awful when she ended up dimming the lights and making everybody feel the cold, she didn't want that to happen. Those were the conditions she hated, dark and cold. She wanted everything to be warm and bright. She exhaled softly, and stepped into the room. Her dark eyes scanned the posters on the wall, they weren't really her musical taste but there was nothing cringingly offensive about the bands in question as Summer viewed it. She turned her attention around the clean room, eying the moon themed images with a slight quirk of her lips. She didn't have quite such a big deal about the sun with her decor, but she had some idea of what possesed Tsuki to go with such choices.
"Don't worry about it."
She waved away Tsuki's obvious embaressment witht he gentle words, keeping a small smile on her lips. Another deep breath and she managed to keep the lights shining, which was a plus.
"So... We need to talk?"

Tsuki smiled when Summer waved away her comment, closing the door behind the pair. It clicked softly before she went over to her bed and sat down. Sitting was best- in case a recurrence of what they'd already gone through happened again. It was turning into a weird night, she didn't want to take any more chance.
Ok, not TOO many more...
"Yeah... About that prophesy about the war..." She said carefully, eyes on the other girls. "I think I now what it was talking about... And you might not like it." It was the truth. Tsuki bit her lip for a moment, not sure how to start.
"It's something that I think you have to know... but I'm really not supposed to ever tell." She looked at her new-found twin, her eyes trying to help the girl understand just how important it was. And possibly dangerous.
Anything related to the Hive was hardly for the weak of heart, that was for sure.

Summer could feel her heart thumping, and heat prickling. A warning, though she wasn't sure what she was being warned about. But there was something in the words that sent fear creeping in, invading her body like an illness. She forced herself to keep her breaths steady, and resisted her urge to flatten herself against a wall. There was no need to be afraid of Tsuki...
"What is it?"
She asked quietly, unable to resist the act of pacing towards the wall. As her spine hit the smooth surface she slid down to the floor, arms wrapped around her stomach as she supressed a shudder. A light glow danced on her skin, betraying her feelings further.
