All is fair with siblings in Chess (HEBI&&WRAITH)

[Hebi Yaiba]

It was nearly silent in the basement of the school, except, that is, for the tick of little wooden chest pieces being placed onto Hebi's glass chess board. Her face was bored, smug, and amused, all at the same time as she stared across at her brother, Wraith.

Chess was her game, so to speak. She'd always been good at strategy and concurring; and she always loved beating her brother's ass. He really was horrible at the game, which made it even better, for her.

She'd looked all her life to find something she could do better than her genius brother. It took her till the age of 6 to finally find chess, her strong point and his weak. And she couldn't love it any more.

Or maybe she could.

"Check." She said, plopping down a red chess piece, a malicious grin on her face. "Brother, you best knock down you're king now and give up. You have no chance. Never did. Never will."

[Tokage Yaiba]

Heist watched as Hebi began to move her chess peice.
Maybe...just...maybe I can win...if she...does'nt-
"Check."
"DAMMIT!!" He yelled and crushed the head off of the piece he was about to move.
He shook with fury.
"Every time..." He gasped, "Every....TIME...we play this game...you-WHY THE HELL CAN'T I WIN?!" He bellowed, sending intimidating echoes of "Win....Win...Win..." Trailing of into the halls above.

[Hebi Yaiba]

"Now, now, brother. Calm down." Hebi cooed, tsking her tongue. "I can't afford new chess pieces every time you have no chance. There isn't enough money in the world. Plus you haven't lost yet. Go ahead and make you're move... then you'll lose."

Her smile was almost sweet. Almost. As with everything in Hebi, there was an undercurrent of superiority and smugness. It was nothing new, but always seemed to do it for getting on peoples bad sides easily.

[Tokage Yaiba]

Heist glared at his sister and slumped lazily back into the chair, making his wiry black bangs fall infront of his eyes.
He was steamed, no denying it, But he went ahead and lazily moved a chess piece forward.
"I will never understand how chess could help anything..."

[Hebi Yaiba]

Without looking up at her brother, she studied the board for a minute.

"If I didn't play chess, we wouldn't have come this far... Checkmate." She placed a piece down and looked up at her brother, grinning, again. "You can knock down your king now."

[Tokage Yaiba]

"My pleasure..." He grummbled through gritted teeth.
He snatched up the little chess piece and squeezed it between his fingers until it broke into many little pieces in his hand.
"I hate chess." He snarled, opening his palm and emptying the dust onto the checkered board.

[Hebi Yaiba]

Hebi watched him silently, horror flashing in her eyes at the sight of the dust.

"You shouldn't have done that, brother." She snarled, her icy blue eyes glaring at him. What happened next would have been too fast for the human eye to see. She leaned back slightly, the snapped forward, lunging herself at her sibling. Halfway across the board, her frame, bone structure- everything- changed. She was, in less than an instant, a cobra, her mouth open and hissing, her tounge thin and split. She was coiled around his neck soon enough, all her words and cussing and threats lost in mad hisses.

[Tokage Yaiba]

Tokage was caught off guard quickly as his sister transformed into her snake, but soon enough he had transformed into his own monster.
The longs sabres on his arms sheathed themselves and he grabbed the snakes skin and squeezed hard.
As angry as he may be, he knew better than to stab his own sister over something petty like a board game.

[Hebi Yaiba]

Hebi's tail lashed, the venom coated blade of it unconciously avioding her brother. Now that he was in his own reptillion form, Wraith was sure to understand Hedi's hissed dialog.

"-you damned fucking ass of a-"

There wasn't much to hear, though. It was all much the same. Her cursing his very exsistance. It was nothing new. She did it enough that the words just blended in with the profanity. Eventually, after he'd pulled on her a few time (hard) and she'd cussed him to a certain limit, she gave up, knowing that it would do no good.

She loosened her grip around him, slithering away to a chair they'd stollen from the school for one of their personal underground chambers. It was there that she turned back into a human, her face hard and stubborn and angry. Though there was grudging resignation to her crossed-armed stance.

"You're paying for a new set." She stated simply, her icy glare boring into him.

[Tokage Yaiba]

Haist sat down in one of the chairs, his hand on his forehead.
"Yes..whatever you say sister...." He mummbled grudgingly

It was only now that he noticed they had been watched.
A boy, about 16-17 stood at the entrance to the room, gawking.
"Whaddyou want..?" Heist growled.

[Hebi Yaiba]

Grudgingly still, Hebi's eyes followed her brother's gaze to the boy at the boy.

"I coulda sworn we built the tunnels to have locks on them... Especially in my rooms." She grummbled to herself before addressing the gawker.

"What buisness do you have disturbing us? Why are you bothering your leaders?!" She always addressed those under her in manors like this. It made people afraid of her, and she liked that.

[Tokage Yaiba]

The boy hesitated, before saying: "I- just heard a noise-"
"So you belived that you could just run in here as if this room was yours? Just like you owned the place? Like you had the right? Like you were any more than a useless pawn?" Wraith jabbed at the boy.
Wraith had a reputation for catching people off-guard, this moment was no different.
The boy's jaw dropped again, and he said nothing.

[Hebi Yaiba]

"My brother's quite right." Hebi said coldly. "If anyone desired your presence, don't you think we'd have said something? You MUST be new..."

Hebi shook her head. "What is that Taira teaching them?" She sighed, looking up at her brother.
