It was quite common for Chichu to waste time sitting in the shade if the courtyard. The large stone tables did nicely for her bearing down on to write. Her little red book was gladly taking the ink her black pen supplied for it. The words flowed easily when she had the right subject- This time it was a mini debate about how honest she should be with Eiji when they went to town, Friday.
Perhaps she'd tell him a story to scare him... maybe in warning.
Or not.
There was too much to think about, and not much time left. Perhaps she should just play it by ear...
She sighed, shaking her head. Maybe she should just forget it for a while. Maybe she should just put the book away and do something to forget... but what?

Ashi stood sat under a weeping willow tree, and had his eyes shut. He was basking in the warmth of the day and the coolness of the shade. He lifted his tilted down head, and smelt the flow of fresh ink.
"Hmm, that must be that girl Chichu I hear people talking about."
He sighed and got up lazily, and put his hands in his pockets.
"Better go see why people dread her so much. Not that She could be very bad to reach my scale."
He walked slowly towards the strong aura flowing in the air, like the scent of ink. As he reached a girl, he saw her with a blood red notebook, and put a hand over his dry throat.
"Hello?!"
His voice ringed like low chimes as he waited for a response, if he'd gotten one back.

Chewy looked up, startled. She was used to occasionally being interrupted by Jinx, Eiji, Yukai, or ever Mai, but not anyone else. She barely recognized this new voice; it made her eyes go wide as she looked upon him.
There wasn't anything about the junior that should scare her. And he didn't. Only one person, besides herself, could scare her.
"Hi," She said, blinking. She racked her memory for a name to put to the guy, but nothing came to her mind.
"Um... Do I know you?" She asked, her brows furrowing in minor frustration as they often did wen she was either confused or trying to think. He seemed vaguely familiar, but not much more...

"Ahh, I'm Ashi Mitsuki....Evil Angel, at your service Chichu."
He put a long arm around his waist, and one behind his back, and bowed slightly, looking up with an evil grin, and his red eye locked on the girl's. He looked naturally scaring to some, but in her case, she didn't look scared at all. He knew that she shouldn't either.
"It's a pleasure to meet you....Chi. I've heard about you, But none talks rapidly about me as they do you. I'm sorry to disappoint you."
Ashi frowned, and took a willing step towards her, sitting on the ground.

Chu blinked again a few times.
"I didn't know I was talked about that much," She said. So that was how he knew her name, at least. That she could understand- kinda.
"It's, um, nice to meet you, Ashi." She said, remembering her manors. "So, what have you heard about me?"

Ashi blinked, and thought about that she'd been stumbling. Was he that odd to her, it was part of his insignia, and the devil's curse, to be kind. Odd girl.
"That you're amazingly scary."
He played with the last word by wiggling his fingers and narrowing his glowing blood red eyes. Which didn't help his thirst at the very moment.
"Uhm, would it be rude if I, ahem, excused myself for a moment Chi?!"
He gripped at his throat, and his claws dug into his skin. He held his breath, and the air that was locked in his lunges brushed against the walls of dryness.

She could hear him stop breathing. Why it would make him hungry to be around her, she had no clue- there wasn't enough blood in her to provoke anyone.
"Sure, no problem," She nodded, then looked back down at her journal, sure that he would have fled the moment she gave the ok.
Apparently she was 'scary'. That was reassuring. Her friends had long sense stopped being afraid of her and Kuro always acted as if HE would kill HER. The fact that this boy found it funny put her the slightest bit on edge. Was she losng her predatorial touch? Surely that wasn't possible, right?
Right?

Ashi left at the ok from Chewy, and skidded to a stop, feasting on a small rabbit. It was sure to keep him up, until tonight.
He quickly turned back and was by Chichu's side in an instant, with a retreated smile.
"I'm sorry, I'm just not used to meeting somebody sort of like me. Start over?"
He held out his cold, big hand, and he waited. His eye matched with his smoky Grey scarf, that brushed against his back with the cool Autumn's wind.
