[Ashi/Jinx] well, howdy there stranger.

"OH JAYSUS!"

When people heard the screaming, they moved out of the way. With good cause too. Jinx's Insignia didn't give her any great speed, but she still moved fast. Oh, and she had the unfortunate habit of blasting things out of her way if they didn't move fast enough. It seemed she could use her bad luck abilities even at high velocity.

So freshamn literally flattened themselves against the walls when she came streaking around the corner in a flash of limbs and laughter. Why she was running? Who knew? All they knew was that she was running and they didn't want to be in the way.

Jinx was laughing as she screamed in mock terror, sprinting down the halls. She swung her lithe frame over a wall and continued running, absently leaping over a bench as she did so. She was causing havoc she knew, but that just made her laugh harder.

Suddenly she jumped once more, latching herself onto a dark haired person. Her arms locked around his neck, and her legs swung up around his waist as she barelled into him in a fit of laughter. She didn't know or care who she'd jsut glomped, she was having far too much fun.

[Ashi Mitsuki]

Ashi walked lazily down the hall, and turned a corner, not having time to think about who was about to turn as he did; but he'd wished he had. A brown haired, laughing like hell girl slammed into him, and he set a foot back, while they slid to a stop half way in the hall. Everyone around them had froze, and his eyes were large with anger at the girl, and at himself.

Everyone had also frozen in the hall, around them, waiting for Ashi's reaction to just being glomped by some random strange girl. Ashi growled, as his throat stung dry. He'd hadn't had anything to drink for about a month and a half now, due to the cold dry weather. And now.... Now he was being served girl on top of him, clinging. He'd just leave her there and drink her dry; didn't even have to stalk her down, or lure her away like with most of his victims.

"What...are you...doing!?"

Ashi growled, his throat even dryer, at the smell, sound, and feeling of the girls heart throbbing harder and harder at her running pace. Gushing thick rich blood through her veins. Good thing he could drink and kill, or decide to drink, and just physically and mentally scar his victims.

He quickly set the girl down, his black eye turned, to match his other blood red one, and he lent down, snapping his jaw around the girl's neck. The students stood in terror at his aggressive feeding, and one even dared to grab a teacher. He swallowed her rich red blood down like a little kid and a soda. Itself brushing against his dry, now getting moist, throat.

A teacher came up with an emergency type of pole, and the bulk man snapped it in front of Ashi's face, pressing it on his neck, and pulling back. Quickly Ashi's fangs released from the defenseless girl's neck, and another female teacher wrapped an arm around her to keep her in a standing position. The teacher yank and baked up with Ashi biting on the electric bar, and two young students, who unwillingly pulled at his arms.


In the end, Ashi ended up killing the two young boys, and one girl in the office, but biting three times at the teacher; which he found out was the gym teacher. He left five massive dents in the electric pole weapon that the couch was using to pull him away from the random girl.

Man, was she an idiot! I gotta apologize. I don't care what happens to her, it's not my problem, AT LEAST I DIDN'T KILL HER RIGHT?!!

Ashi yelled in his head as he paced back and forth in his black empty room.

Jinx was suddenly aware of being set down back on her feet. She didn't have time to be aware of the iron strength that had detatched her limbs, as suddenly somethign was at her throat. At first she thought he was kissing her, and then she felt the flare of pain as the skin was peirced and then she began feeling weak. Her fingers gripped the boys shoulders in an effort to hold herself steady, and she tried to part her lips to... Shout? Something. She failed. Her head was killing her, and she couldn't think straight. She needed to... do... something. What though? She was feeling dizzy.

Suddenly there was a sting of electrcity brushing against her throat, and an arm around her waist. Kinan stumbled, and and latched herself onto the being holding her up. She wasn't entirely sure what happened, all she knew was that her feet weren't holding her up like they should. She frowned through the dizziness, hardly registering as she was handed from person to person. Her arms looped instintively around a neck as she was lifted through the floor. She mumbled indistinctly as she pressed her face into the chest, eyelides fluttering dimly...


Jinx's eye's snapped open to find a senior peering down anxiously at her. She stared back in confusion. Then she tried to sit up, and was imedietaly pushed back down by the senior. She frowned, trying to remember what had happened. Who the hell was this senior? She remembered running down the halls... She was playing a game... Then jumping... She frowned slightly at the effort. Her hand lifted as she rubbed her neck, and she flinched a spain suddenly seared.

"Ouch!"

She muttered, and then it hit her like a slap in the face. She traced her fingers gently along the bandage, remembering the feeling of weakness... She shivered. The boy reached towards her. The bed gave way beneath her weight, causing the senior to leap backwards.

"For fucks sake!"

Jinx snarled, picking up a peice of now splintered metal. She looked at the damage she had caused and sighed, eyes closing for a moment as she recollected herself. The black-out had messed with her head, causing her abilites to slip out of reach for a little while. She'd get them back in control. Untill then, her self-defense mechanism was going to be on high. Her body had registered the threat, and now it had protected her mind it was setting about keeping her physical form in tact.

"I... want to... see him."

She muttered, ignoring the boy as she climbed ot her feet, brushing silver splinters out of her hair and clothes. She shivvered again, but this time it was for the cold. She claimed an over-sized hoodie from the floor and pulled it over her head. It fringed her knees and she assumed it belonged to the boy who'd been gaurding her body while she swum in the darkness.

"You're not allowed-"

He began, but Jinx cut him off as she walked past, the tread of her feet not the usual skip.

"I wasn't asking for permission."

She pointed out as she slammed the door shut and headed out of the infirmary towards the boy's dorms. She'd been in here many times and was familiar with who's room was who's, even if she didn't know the person.

"Hello? Are you okay?"

She called out as she rapped lightly agaisnt the door. Her mind screamed in protest; doing this really was tempting her bad luck.

[Ashi Mitsuki]

Ashi heard faint footsteps and automatically knew it was the girl from before. He quickened his pace, and froze; glaring at the door when he heard a knocking noise.

"Hello? Are you okay?"

The small voice whispered in the late night.

"I was....until you came!"

Ashi hissed in the darkness of his room, no window, nothing. All in sight, was his one glowing red eye, the black one hidden in the shadows.

"It was going so well! I was going to make it to another week, when school got out for the Christmas holiday. But you had to come, and ruin it all! What ARE you getting at?"

Ashi growled and hissed in the same deafening tone. Agonized. He paced the room, faster and faster, his graceful steps barely touching the floor, and he stopped once more. He swiftly sat at his bed, which stood in the same room as the door, and shut his eyes with a deep groaning sigh.

"Come in if you wish,"

His eyes opened with a narrowed sharp look, his red eye stinging in the night.

"I warn you....If I lose it, I will take you! You'll live....If I like you that is,"

Shut.

"So I suggest you shan't be hasty to open that door."

He looked up at the door, and kept his eyes locked on the girls aura. Ready for her entrance if she'd decided.

[Kinan Kobo]

Jinx listened to the threats patiently. Threats she could deal with, she grew up with the threats. She fuffilled most of them too. She wasn't really listening to them anyway, she was just waiting for an invation to go inside.

Then it arrived.

She'd burst through the door before he'd even really finsihed his sentence, blue eyes wide with curiosuity, though her mind was allready scanning the probabilites in case things got ugly. She was ready to change the numbers at a moment's notice.

"Nah, I'm hasty. My mum always says I jump in with both feet without looking, which is why I broke my ankle that time. I say it was just bad luck... No pun intended!"

She began chatting into the gloom, eyes scanning the darkness, trying to pick up any details.

"Oh, and I'm sorry for tempting you. But in my defense... I didn't know that when I jumped on you did I? And you could have jsut walked away, but whatever. No big deal. So hows life?"

Jinx really had no grasp on the gravity of the situation, did she?

"Out...NOW!!!"

Ashi didn't even have to think about his reaction when Jinx had started talking.

"Get out of here Jinx....unless you want another lay low moment!?"

He'd guessed her name from the conversations going on in the dorms across the hall, the devil only knows why they were still awake. He got up, no hesitation, and walked by Jink, he tall slim figure looking down at the girl.

"You heard me...Do you want another drop dead moment?! The devil only knows what I'll do with you then."

His voice whispered like low chimes, and his lips curved with a deathening smile. showing his sharp fangs on the ends.

Jinx blinked in suprise as he demanded her exit. He'd only jsut invited her in, why would you invite somebody in onlyto tell them to leave again? It seemed a bit stupid, and it was a waste of time. Her eyes followed him as he walked fluidly to her side, taking in his words without really hearing him.

"You're not that scary you know- OH MY DAYS YOU HAVE FANGS!"

She squealed the last six words in delight, rather than the fear that would normally accompany such a statement. Maybe hanging about with ChiChu had de-sensitized her from a fearful reaction, or maybe the sugar they'd made her eat for the shock was kicking in. Who knew?

A wide, sudden grin lit up her features, her teeth white in the darkness. She flicked her hair idly over her shoulder in one movement, stretching up on tip-toes to see the fang's better. Her subconcious processed the danger of such an action before Jinx did, and equations began to form in her mind easily. All she had to do was add the final few numbers and the room would be thrown into choas. But she didn't slot them into place jsut yet.

"That is cool. I guess I should have known though, I mean you did drink some of my blood. It's not like you'd carry a straw around with you... Would you? Nah, I don't think so. But still... Wow. Anyhow, you never answered my question. I asked you a question and I think you should answer it before you throw me out. I mean it was pretty damn nice of me to come and check on your mental and physical welfare after you drank my blood, isn't it? The very least you can do is play nice for a bit!"

She spoke quickly, dropping down from her tiptoes and shifting her weight to her left leg, staring up at him as she waited for the respone - most likely startled juding from past experiance- that Ashi would give.

She hoped he wouldn't try to bundle her out the door, that wouldn't end up well...

[Ashi Mitsuki]

"Here's your answer Jinxy....IT SUCKS LIKE HELL, like the way my life is supposed to be."

Ashi picked up the small girl with just his right arm, and nearly thought about throwing her out, but instead he let her slide from his arm to the floor.

"Happy...."

He slammed his door, and they both heard him hit his back against it, and slide down. He placed his head in his cupped hands and took in a deep breath.

"Damn girl....."

[Kinan Kobo]

The moment Ashi grabbed her arms, numbers began to fall into place. It was like gravity seized them, and dragged them down into the correct location. The correct formulae for destruction and Kinan's safety. Luckily, he let her fall to the floor before the final number was slotted into place and set the bomb off. As it was, the floor cracked and the cracks ran up one of the walls to tickle the ceiling of the hallway. That was going to get her in trouble. Jinx shrugged her shoulders, exaiming her arm. It was probably going to bruise.

Jinx glanced back at the door, slammed firmly shut to seal her out. She scooted closer to the door, for two reasons. One, she didn't want people tripping over her in the hallway, because then she might have to hurt them. And secondly, because she wasn't finished - whether Ashi liked it or not. She took a deep breathe, and then started talking.

"Okaaaay. Calm down there okay? I mean, life sucks for everyone, being Marked just makes it worse becuase then everybody hates you on principle. Life's not raindbows and butterflies, it's a fact. But you gotta get over it. So what? Life's bad, deal with it. Instead of screaming and blaming the world, make it better. I'm trying to avoid the cliche's but really, it's your life. Live it how you want."

She paused to check her words impact, then resettled herself on the floor. She crossed her legs, and her arms were wrapped around her stomach as she leant back agaisnt the door, letting it carry her weight.

"You think you've got it worst though, right? That nothing is comparable to what your problem is, right? Well, newsflash: You're WRONG!"

She shouted the last word to make sure he would hear, and clenched her fists tightly. The door creaked ominously, and the crack in the floor grew slightly. She bit her lip, waiting to see if he would explode back at her... Again.

[Ashi Mitsuki]

Ashi took in every single word the girl said, and his eyes widened with anger at the last sentence. He threw his arm through the door, and wrapped his claws -from the back- of Jinx's neck, and locked her in place.

"Shut up! You hear me don't you. Just, shut. Up!"

He Curled his long claws around her neck, and gently pulled back, forcing her to move along. He moved another arm through the shattered wood he had made, and wrapped it around her waist. He carefully pulled her back into the room and placed her in between his legs. Ashi wrapped his long arms around Jinx's slim figure, and pressed his forehead on her shoulder blade.

"Help me...."

He whispered, bringing up the memory of Taira... his kitty, leaving him, and his claws shrank down into sharp nails.

[Kinan Kobo]

It really was unluck that Ashi wrapped his claws around Kinan's neck. Because it was about that moment, that the survival instinct kicked it. Her skin practically tingled with energy as she let instinct take over, and being dragged through the door by those claws really didn't help the matter. Jinx fought agaisnt her own instincts ot try and keep things calm, but it was hard. What was left of the door shattered into splinters,, showering both Ashi and Jinx with fragments of wood. Jinx gritted her teeth and closed her eyes. Something exploded forcefully a few doors away, and a boy yelped loudly.

She flinched as his legs were wrapped around her, and the floor began to tremble. Shit. She really needed to calm down. Doing her best to shut out the situation, she began to hum to herself. It seemed a strange reaction, but the lullaby normally soothed her. She drained out the noise, the feeling of claws and hummed the tune. It was working. Her eyes remained tightly closed as she unravelled the number patterns, so they dwindled back down to simple numbers. The floor stopped shaking, and she opened her eyes.

"Let. Go."

She managed to hiss between clenched teeth, though it was more out of the desire to keep calm than rage.

"If you don't... Thing's will explode, okay? I can't... help you... If I'm trying to stop thigns exploding. So just... Let go."

Words weren't easy when she was so focused on not shaking the foundations of the school but she hoped Ashi understood.

[Ashi Mitsuki]

Ashi's mood exchanged from terrified of himself, to worry for Jinx, but then to rage, his last resort to anything. His eyes gleamed red, and his claws raked at his skin as he let go of the girl's body, and he enclosed himself in a -tough as he was- dome, made by his wings.

He waited, for something to happen, anything... anything to happen. He was used to being alone, but for his body to react like this, was unnatural for him.

[Kinan Kobo]

Jinx shuffled backwards the moment she was released. She hardly paid attention to the boy, her eyes squeezed tightly closed as she fought to keep her breathing even. Her body was tingling with energy, and her mind was reminding her just how easy it would be to bring the walls crashing down around the boy a short distance away. She tried her best to ignore that. The humming began with a slight note of urgency, as she fought her instincts. It was easy to forget, consdering her bouncy sunny demenor, jsut how much damage the blonde could do.

She didn't feel like reminding the school.

"Oh what the heck, throw in a train wreck."

She mumurmed the last lines of the song softly, as her breathing steadied and the survival instinct that so nearly overpowered died down and became temporarily dormant. She puased a few seconds longer and then carefully opened her eyes. She studied the dome for a moment, and then trusted herself enough to speak.

"Okay. Here's a little tip for the future... If you try to drain me of blood, and then grab me shortly afterwards before I'm in control... Things explode. Let's try to keep that in mind, shall we?"

She spoke to the dome, eyes scanning the cracks on the floor that she'd inadvertedly caused.

"Umm, I'll fix those for you later. So... How can I help you?"

She asked curiously, her tones calmer and much mor even.

[Ashi Mitsuki]

"I think you've done enough for now...get out...and I'll fix them myself."

He mumbled, opening a wing just to make a crack to see through. His red eye glowering at Jinx and it motioned for the shattered wood, which used to be the door. He wanted her to leave before he forced himself into another fake sleep. The devil only knows what she'll do if she stayed.

[Kinan Kobo]

"Are you trying to take my crown?"

Jinx suddenly demanded, blue eyes narrowing ever so slightly. She stared at the boy, the edge to her tones hard to place.

"Because, as far as I was concerned; I was the most annoying person in this school. I'm damn good at it too. But you are acting like you want my throne. What with the inviting me in, and then throwing me out. Telling me to go away and then literally dragging me back in. Then you ask me to help you, and when I actually calm myself down enough to help you ask me to leave AGAIN!"

She threw her hands into the air as she exlaimed the last words, and her eyes were still full of that accusing glare.

"Just... Make your mind up, okay?"

She said, tracing one of the cracks with her fingertips. It was easy to fix, she'd just flip the numbers back into their original locations. She'd do it when she was a little calmer though; it was safer that way.

[Ashi Mitsuki]

Ashi glared at the girl, and showed his fangs again as he hissed another word.

"Out!"

His voice got menacing, and his wings folded into a disappearance. Ashi got up, his claws dragged on the wooden floor as he did so, and stood over top of Jinx. He parted his mouth to speak again, but he shut it tighter than usual, his fangs gritted together, and he stepped to his bed. He looked at the confusing girl, and pointed at his door, which was now fixed.

Jinx flashed her own teeth as Ashi bared his fangs. Her's wasn't a threatenign guesture however, it was a simple grin. She didn't move an inch, didn't even flinch at the harsh sound of claws on wood. Even when he towered over her, snarling the word and gritting his teeth. She stayed where she was. Her blue eyes met his mismatched ones, and she kept her gaze there.

"No."

She said suddenly, her tones crisp and clear. But then she was speaking again, hardly leaving room for a reply.

"So I guess you're going to get all angry and 'RAWR' on me now, right? Becuase nobody defies you, especially me. Well, just you try and make me leave. Becuase you can throw me out, and I will break your door down again, and again and again. You can kill me I guess, but that might not be your best idea. Becuase if you kill me, then Eiji might kill you and if you kill Eiji then ChiChu will come after you, and you do not want that. Oh, and Taira might not be happy with you either, and when the girls not happy, god only knows how not-happy her freaky big bro is.... So if you want all the bloodshed, let's get to the throwing me out, but if not... Just tell me what the hell is going on in your big, messed up head there Angel boy."

She finished her rather dramatic speech on a note of triumph, and arched a single eyebrow at the boy. Hopefully he wouldn't try to kill her...

[Ashi Mitsuki]

Ashi took in her words. Surly enough, if he'd really think about killing someone, Kuro would get involved, and then he'd tell Taira to stay away even more than before. Man, was this girl a little menace.

"Alright....FINE! Just, what do you want that's so important that you need me for? Hmm? Why don't you just...Go bug a beetle or something?!"

Ashi waved his hand and he went back to sitting down, and scratching his claws on the floor.

[Kinan Kobo]

Ashi admitted defeat, and Jinx grinned inwardly. She always did have that slight competitive streak in her, something she blamed Seb for. He was a bad influence on her... Or maybe it was the other way around?

"Beetles are no fun."

She proclaimed, raisng her hands to brush the golden locks out of her face. Being thrown about the place had caused her hair to go a little wild. She combed her fingers through the offending locks in those few moments of silence, easing out any potential tangles and making the tresses respectable.

"You know, you're really unlucky."

She stated suddenly, side-stepping his question with all the stealth of a brick. However, Jinx was the type of person who changed the subjecty randomly in any conversation, so she could pull it off.

"Beetles are plenty of fun, when you dunk them in water and watch them suffer."

Ashi said in a monotone, teasing the blond haired girl.

"And how so?! I know I'm unlucky to have met you, but you know....You get used to it easily, you ignore it!"

He growled the words, but hissed the last sentence through his teeth. He wasn't in any mood to sleep with her in here, but he was extremely tired from skipping the past few days of sleep.
