Kuro hadn't always liked the fact he was so inhumanly powerful, it caused him to do things that made him so ashamed. He'd done so much wrong in his life, caused so much pain. It was a miracle all respects that Taira stayed with him. He'd done a lot wrong in his life, but this was high ranking. Or was it? He'd been protecting his sister. Ashi had been trying to drain her blood after-all. When it came down to it, was killing for his twin such a crime? Could she ever forgive him for such a crime? She'd taken such a shine to the boy, and he had killed him. Wait, the boy wasn't dead yet.
Now he was grateful for the strength and stamina as he blurred through the shadows, willing in both demon-cant and his mind for the evil angel to survive. Surely hell wasn't that desperate yet?
He near exploded into the empty room (nobody was brave enough to take him as a room-mate), and crossed the room in a matter of strides. Ashi was laid down gently on the made bed, and then Kuro stepped away from the body, pressing his back against the wall. As far away as he could get, without leaving the room.
"Don't be dead."
He whispered, and then his head snapped up as Taira came through the door. Her eyes were wide, and she checked his rapidly healing injuries with one summarising glance. Then she turned her attention to the being who needed it more. The boy dying on the bed. She refused to believe he was dead yet. Crossing the room, she dropped to her knees next to him.
"C'mon Chuckles. You're not dead. You're part of hell, remember? You're not dead. You're just messing with us."
She whispered softly, while Kuro just watched silently, his eyes sorrowful. Taira found Ashi's hand, and caught it in her own. Her fingers twisted through his and she squeezed it tightly, as if her touch could bring him back to life.
"Don't be dead Ashi... I'm warning you now, don't you dare be dead!"
She all but growled the last words.

Ashi's hand slowly gripped on Taira's harder, trying to not dig his claws into her skin, and his other arm moved next. His eyes were still shut, as if acting on a will, and he raked his claws into his chest, arching his back with the pain. He'd only used three fingers to carve the number six into his chest, thus making it repeat twice. 666, sign of the devil!
"I promise....I'll be...fine."
He whispered as he turned slowly to his side, curling his legs up to his chest. He put a bloody hand over Taira' eyes, and his wings wiped a dome over his body. A black light darkened the room, and his wings opened back up.
"I promise,"
He whispered, grabbing Taira's arm, and pulling her closer to him.
"Kitty!"
He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly, brushing away her tears. He looked at Kuro from across the room, with warm, thankful eyes. He shut them, and pulled away from Taira and gripped her shoulders, looking her straight in the eyes, holding a faint smile on his pale face.
"No need to cry over a fool like me. Kuro, you're right, I'll leave her be, unless she wants to see me, or if you allow it. I swear."
He nodded once to the other male across the room, and leaned back down to the girl.
"I meant what I said, but I don't think I'm....or you, are ready. I love you."
He kissed the top of her forehead and beat his wings once, disappearing into his own dark room. He curl his arms around his legs, and pressed his head against the back wall, shutting his eyes.

Taira stayed so silent, it was scaring Kuro. She had that face on as well. The face he'd seen so many times before. Her expression was anguished, but if you looked beneath the surface you could see her freezing. She fought back, numbing herself from the reality of it all. She was stepping away, detaching herself from the whole scene second by second. She never liked ot cry, never like to be weak. She broke down, but then she picked herself up and she carried on. The concrete angel. She'd began weaving the web of lies that would keep them safe allready. A fight between siblings- bound to happen. There was plenty of blood, but the teachers knew how fast they healed so there was no need for worry. The friendship between Taira and Ashi was new, there would be no reason to suspect involvement if he didn't pull through. They'd dump the body, and... Well, he wasn't sure how she was going to arrange this one. He hated the fact it all fell on to her shoulders, but she was always better in these situations. More practical.
Kuro dropped his head into his hands.
His head snapped up at Taira's gasp. It wasn't over yet. He gritted his teeth as he watched the claws tighten around Taira's hand. Stay calm. Stay calm. She could take that, it wouldn't do her any damage. She was safe. He was alive. It was going to be fine. Kuro watched as The Devi;'s insignia was carved into his chest, and watched the healing with mild satsifaction. So Hell wasn't that desperate yet... Maybe there was more of a purpose deemed for this Evil Angel? Interesting.
His fists clenched as arms were thrown around Taira, the anger hadn't faded and Kuro was fighting to stay in control. It was hard to do this when the boy who had jsut tried to drain your twin fo blood was now calling her 'Kitty' and holding her close.
He met Ashi's gaze breifly, then turned away, so he was facing out of the window, staring out into the darkness.
Taira smiled weakly as blood stained hands brushed away the remains of the evening's tears. She kept her arms wrapped around him, embracing for the simple fact he was alive. She could feel Kuro's anger like electricity in the air, but he kept it controlled, for which she was grateful. Her eyes widened in suprise as he spoke to the silent statue form of her wrathful brother, hearing the words with some disbelief. What?
After all that just happened, after all that they had risked. He was going to walk away? He wasn't even going to try and fight for... Whatever it was they now had? Not that fighting had got him far in this case, but seeing the spirit gone didn't please Taira. She had fire in her viens, and she didn't like to sit back. She opened her lips to protest, her half formed words somewhere between irritation and protest, but then Ashi grabbed her shoulders and silenced her.
She listened, and her eyes widened. The pressing of cold lips to her brow only held her stiller. She was frozen, held in place by some new center of gravity that kept her pinned to the floor. Unable to move, unable to speak. She hardly registered his sudden departure.
"W-what?"
She managed to stammer, recollecting her senses after what seemed like an eternity. Her mind rushed, her lips still parted slightly in shock, her pretty face blank with suprise and confusion. Then-
"WHAT?"
She snarled suddenly, rage bursting through and allowing her to break free and then she was standing. Her eyes blazed, and she spun to the door, only to stumble. She didn't hit the floor, she was caught by Kuro before that could even be an option. His hold on her was firm, but gentle. The sudden rage left her as quickly as it had come, and she allowed herself to be drawn into his chaste embrace. He held her carefully, afraid to crush her close to his frame so shortly after his lapse in control. Her arms looped around his torso, and she leant her head against his chest; listening to the dual heartbeats.
"What do I do Kuro?"
She whispered softly, sounding so much like the lost little girl she had once been, that Kuro almost broke himself. Except this time it was his turn to be strong. He would keep her safe. He kissed the top of her head lightly, and then lead her towards the bathroom.
"Shower."
He said, trying to be gentle but there was a finality to his tones that Taira didn't argue with. She accepted the clothes he offered her, and stepped inside the bathroom. Kuro waited 'till he heard the lock click and the rush of hot water to begin before he spoke again.
"Ashi!"
He called out, his tones quiet enough that they wouldn't disturb any others in the dorms, but the demon-boy was confident that Ashi would hear, and heed the calling. The evening wasn't finished with yet...

Ashi's ears perked once to the sound of his name in the halls. Now he knew it must be the end...but, what would the Devil use him for? Maybe make him die, just to shred his heart and rebirth him again. Just to see him walk through the same pain over and over once more; until he got bored and truly disposed of him.
"In here."
He whispered, unwillingly to Kuro's voice, knowing he could search him out within a second. He'd hadn't moved from his up-right fetal position, still covered in blood, he waited, by hitting the back of his head on the wall.

Kuro's head titled towards the sound of the voice, pin-pointing the exact location. He cast a breif glance back to the showeroom, and then he was gone. He would do his best to make this quick, but failing that... He'd think of an exuse if Taira noted him to be missing. Hopefully she wouldn't.
He didn't knock, he simply opened the door. Luckily for the door and the owner of the door it swung open easily at his touch, rather than forcing him to break it down. Which he would have done easily, without any hesitation.
Golden eyes narrowed at the sight of the Evil Angel, curled up against the floor. Like Kuro, Ashi was still coated in blood. Kuro glared in distaste.
"I'm not sorry."
He growled softly, making it clear that guilt wasn't really in his mind. He'd felt shame for loosing his temper, and nearly killing the other boy, but it wasn't for the action in reality. It was more the pain the action caused his sister. Kuro would be more than happy to restart the fight and finish it properly if Ashi ever attacked Tairadenai again. His eyes were still narrowed, and fists were clenched tightly, betraying the rage he was trying to contain. He longed to rip the teenagers throat out but that wouldn't be... helpfull. Besides that was not why he was here.
He was here for Taira.
"What... What do you think you are doing to my sister?"
He demanded harshly, guesturing back towards his own room where Taira's emotions unsettled themselves once more thanks to Ashi.

"look, if you're here to finish me off....Then do so and leave me be."
Ashi scowled, angry at himself for doing what he had. Death was coming, he could sense it, and it wasn't going to be a pretty movie scene. He tucked his head under his arms protection, and tightened his body up, hoping not to roar out in pain for what Kuro would do.
"please, no hesitations, I know how hard this'll be to hold back right now.

An open invitation. Oh Devil below... It would be so easy, too easy to break the body once more. He'd keep breaking it, no matter how many times the Devil sent him back. He'd drink his blood if nessecary, anything. It was so tempting, and so acheivable. It as all Kuro could do to keep his temper in check. He just replayed Taira's haunted expression, and the sound of her screaming untill the desire eased up just a little.
"I'm... Not... Here to... Kill You."
He managed to mutter between tightly clenched teeth. Was this how Taira felt? When she saw him around ChiChu, when the hatred bubbled? Maybe he should sympathise with her more, but then again ChiChu had never tried to kill Taira, or anybody she loved. Unless she loved woodland animals. Which she didn't, so that point was moot.
"I'm here becuase... Becuase you're messing up my sisters head. She's been through more than enough and you're making it worse."
He spat the words out in a hurried rush, clenched fists trebling ever so slightly. A give-away of his murderous desire.

"Then why don't you desperately kill me, shred me...anything, to stop my heart from hurting Kuro. End it... Sure she might fight back tears for a bit, but she'll get over me anyways."
Ashi put a cold hand up to his bare, blood spattered chest, and wiped his fingers down, drawing with the still fresh blood.
"Yeah, it's an open invitation, I would have let you kill me back there, but like you... I couldn't stand hearing her cry. I'm nothing like you... nothing i know. But her crying is like... like a shrieking cat alright. Before I die, take this one wish of a demon cursed kid,"
Ashi took in a deep, last breathe, and looked up drearily.
"Keep her safe... and happy."
He whispered.

Kuro glared down at the form on the floor. The creature pleading for death, begging for it. He could grant that request, end it all for the boy. He could do it swiftly, or draw out the pain that it would test the highest endurence. He could do it so easily, it was so tempting. But then Taira would have to help him clean up, and she would have to focus on getting them out of another sticky situation. Another mistake, another mess, another burden to carry, another reason to cry. She'd been through enough tonight.
"I'm not going to grant you mercy. If you're looking for death, that's your problem."
He finally snarled, fists shaking still as he fought to primal desire to destroy. It was getting harder and harder to fight, especially when he kept being given invitations. Maybe he would have snapped if there wasn't suddenly a hand on his arm.
Taira.
When she'd emerged from the bathroom (now blood free), the first thing she'd noticed was that her brother was gone. She'd wasted no time in finding him, padding silently down the halls towards the mumur of voices; anger vs. remorse. They were still blood soaked, and Kuro was shaking. She'd heard Ashi's wish for death, and it had hurt. But she bit her lip against that pain, and stepped into the room. Her big, dark eyes flickered briefly to the Evil Angel, before the demon's daughter focused on her brother.
"Kuro..."
Her words were soft, yet they had the right effect. The shaking slowed to a stop and his fists were still once more. Kuro glanced down at his sister, sorrow in his blazing gold eyes. It was amazing really. She carried Hell in very soul, banned from heaven from birth with the darkness embracing her from her first breath. Yet, as she stood there in a the black tee-shirt that frigned her knees, she'd never seemed more like an angel. The irony of it was near inescapable.
"Let's go."
She continued in the same gentle tones, and he nodded. Kuro turned to leave, not glancing back at the boy on the floor. Taira did, dark eyes glittering with various emotions. Betrayal, Sorrow, Pain, Regret, Shame and Determination were just some of them. Yet despite the complicated weaving of feelings in that second long glance, her gaze seemed somehow... empty.
"Bye."
Was all she said, and then she too left, shutting the door quietly. She took a deep, slightly ragged breath, before she took her big brother's hand and they walked away.

Ashi listened to the angel's voice, ringing like a shot of a gun. He stayed motionless on the back wall, and let them leave. He let her slip out of his clawed fingers...again. When he didn't even want her to.
"I love you...."
He'd whispered again, repeating himself from before, with his own ragged gasp of pain, and he covered his face with his right hand and dig his claws into his frozen skin. He gasped out between sobs, as he let thick red liquid flow down his cheeks, to the corners of his lips, and drip down his chin. He'd been crying over nothing, letting them leave was nothing to do that over. But for him, it was like reliving Hell over and over again, without a heart, or being wasn't anything easy.
He curled himself into a ball, and squeezed his slim body into the corner (the darkest) side of the room, and bit his lip, trying desperately to stop the bloody sobs of terror. If he was going back to Hell, he would have to relive this dreaded life over again, just for the Devil's own amusement. Now tell me, is that something worth dying for?!
