As her dazzling red eyes met his golden optics, Kuro leant forward; unable to resist that instinctive movement. There was still plenty of distance between the pair; most of a table, but it was a few inches closer. Kuro knew he should keep himself in check, and keep as much distance as possible, but he didn't lean back again. Not yet.
"Yes, I am dangerous."
He breathed the words softly, his eyes never once leaving the girls face. How could he tear his gaze away now? It was impossible. He was captured in that moment of time, his tones hushed and his body still. Even his breathing was soft, slow and measured.
"But if I'm not alone... Who am I with then?"
He questioned her words in a whisper.

Chu couldn't help the small grin that appeared on her face. She leaned forward, as well, her own voice dropping.
"I'm not exactly helpless," She murmured. "You aren't the only one in danger of losing control."
The cup in front of her was all but forgotten. Her focus was completely on the son of Hell before her. She wasn't sure how he could captivate her so fully, but he managed to. She couldn't help telling him almost anything that came to her mind. Of course, one of the only things on her mind, at that moment, was him.

He couldn't help but smile as she leant closer, though he automatically judged the distance. It was still safe enough, so he held his position.
"Careful ChiChu, my blood's not good for you."
He said softly, his warning. He was worried about her loosing control and lunging for his throats, but his fear was her safety. Becuase there was a good chance his blood could be fatal and secondly, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to stop himself from hurting her. Self-preservation was a strong instinct, and he wasn't sure how well he could trust himself to supress it.
"I never said you were helpless. But you're... Delicate. More breakable than you understand."
He murmured, the smile on his lips but worry and concern flickered in his eyes.

"I understand just fine." She said, an odd edge to her voice. "And I'm not as delicate as you might assume. You've never studied vampires in your 'History of humanoid sud-species of the Marked' ((HHSSM)) class? We're not exactly... designed to look as touch as we are. Never thought that my 'delicate' appearance is just a predator's weapon?"
She raised one of her 'delicate' eye brows, her lips pursing together. For as long as she'd been getting stared at for being a vampire, the one thing he could never stand was when someone assumed she wasn't strong enough to handle herself. It made her almost automatically defensive.
"And don't worry about you're soft little neck. I'm not really hungry, right now." Her teasing grin returned and she looked down at her hands, which were clutched in her lap so tight that her knuckles were whiter then usual.

"Defensive much there ChiChu?"
He questioned softly, his gaze and tone almost teasing. It was interesting to see how they both made assuptions about the other, despite understanding more about each individual than they each supposed.
"I'm afraid you took my words the wrong way. I have no doubt in my mind that you are strong and durable; far more than most others in this school. But to me personally, you are delicate. Breakable. Something to be protected. Now tell me... Is that such a bad thing?"
He questioned in hushed tones, intriuged to know why ChiChu protested so feircly at the label of being somethign delicate.
"What's so wrong with me wanting to protect you?"

"I don't need protection is what's so wrong with it." She said wryly. "I once jumped off a cliff just to see what would happen... walked away without a scratch. I've never needed anyone to protect me and I doubt I ever will. As much as some might hate me for what I am or what I do, I don't think any of them are brave enough to even try to go against me. I don't need or want protection. I've done just fine defending myself, thus far."
A small frown had set on her lips. Her eyebrows were, once again, pulled together as she tried to convince him.
"I don't need anyone and I never have. I suppose people who're 'protected' by someone all their lives might require it, but I've never needed anyone. Not sense I was a baby, and definitely not now."
She grimaced, looking away. She was getting dangerously close to a subject she'd never spoken of to anyone- not even Yukai or Eiji. Her parents were one par of her past she'd prefer to keep behind a locked door of secrets...

Kuro had listened to her explanation with curiosity. He had to say, the idea of her jumping off cliffs just for the hell of it didn't exactly make him feel comfortable. He didn't doubt for a moment that she would survive, but jumping from a cliff was normally a suicidal response, and he didn't even want to consider the idea that she wanted to end her life.
"Maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong. I guess we'll each have to see the matter differently, as I don't think I'm going to be able to make you see the way I do."
He pointed out, and a frown etched onto his brows to mirror hers as she turned her face away suddenly. That was unexpected. Sighing, he leant back in his chair, stretching out his limbs. He didn't actually need to stretch, but it was a reflexive action. Habits of human behaviour that he'd picked up.
"Don't hate me for saying this, becuase I know she will, but you remind me of my sister."
He suddenly blurted and then regretted it. One of the two females was going to be angry at him for that.

Chu looked up at him, curiosity overpowering her chagrin.
"And how do you come to that conclusion, prey-tell?" She asked. She couldn't imagine how he could think that. Absently, she picked up the blue plastic goblet that was still in front of her and took a sip. When she put the glass down, though she didn't notice, her upper lip was thinly stained by the red liquid- a noticeable contrast to her pale skin.

Kuro paused, considering his words carefully. Taira gaurded her secrets well, and he was expected to take the same precautions. She would never question him about the matter, she'd never even consider the fact that he might share something they had kept hidden. If she found out... She'd see it like a betrayal. She'd forgive him, but she might not forget. No she would not forget, she never did. She always forgave him though, and that level of trust needed to have some relability. But he wanted to explain himself, in fact he needed to. He'd just tread carefully, making sure he didn't slip.
"You've both been through so much. I can't say for sure what you personally have endured during your life-span, but judging by you previous words and the tone, I'd say it wasn't all rainbows and butterflies. Forgive me if I'm making incorrect assumptions... But, despite it all, you've both stayed so strong."
He glanced down as he uttered the final word, unable to meet her gaze and forced to look at the table. His tones were low and soft, inaudible to a normal human.
"Like concrete angels. The storms keep hitting, and you keep on standing. I always break, but she always picks me up. The irony is that despite my super-human strength, when it comes to Tairadenai and I... I'm weak..."
He hesitated for a moment longer and then worked up the courage to look ChiChu in the eye once more.
"Am I making sense?"
He breathed the question softly, his golden gaze imploring.

"I- I think so..." She said slowly. She looked into his eyes for a moment, then her gaze fell. She took a moment before she couild respond.
"You're wrong about one thing, though. I'm no angel. Far from it. It really isn't that saint-like to want to kill everyone you meet. And it isn't just the hunger. It's a real desire to kill... If it were just a hunger, it might be different, but this isn't close to being like that. Perhaps a stone demon is more accurate."
She was accutly aware that she'd begun babbling. She went quiet, though, wringing her hands under the table.

"You're not a demon!"
Kuro snarled, anger suddenly leaping into his tones. His eyes flashed, and his fists were clenched so tightly they were trembling. He glared at her with such burning intensity for a moment, and then he suddenly dropped his gaze. Shame burned him now, not anger. He didn't mean to do that.
"Forgive me."
He murmured softly, palcing his fists out of sight under the table. He didn't want to scare her, to chase her away. She just got under his skin. That was why he had to avoid her, because being near her made it so hard to be calm, cold and distant. He took a deep breath and then continued in carefully hushed tones.
"You aren't a demon. Yes, you have the desire to kill bou don't kill them though. You fight your own instincts, your own nature to keep them alive. Demons don't do that. They give in to temptation..."

"That may be," She said in a soft, placating tone she'd learned from Yukai, trying to keep him from snapping, again.
"I'm sorry if I upset you... but, in many ways, I am a demon. The way you feel and what you are is what defines that, in my mind. And Everything about my instincts is demonic. You might be right, you might be wrong. Perhaps it doesn't matter whether you act on desires, but merely the fact that the desire is there. I'm not perfect. I don't think anyone sees me that way, anyway. I just am what I am. A vampire. I've accepted that."
She looked right at him, willing him to look in her eyes and see that she truly meant it. She wasn't ashamed of what she'd admitted. She just hated what she was.

Kuro didn't trust himself to speak as ChiChu's words flowed easily. He didn't understand how she could say such things, discuss matters that weren't called for. He had to remind himself that she compared herself to a demon, and didn't wish to be one. The idea of somebody wanting to lead this... exsistence. Life wasn't a fitting word. He kept silent, jaw locked and fists clenched as he strived for a level of calm.
It was getting harder and harder.
Part of him resisted the idea of hurting ChiChu so strongly that he was on the point of running from the room, where the other part pulled him towards the girl with a force he didn't understand.
He kept his gaze on the table, breathing deeply for a few long moments. The the golden eyes were raised, and he was startled slightly to see the resigned acceptance in ChiChu's eyes. Would he ever be able to reach that level of acceptence? He doubted it.
"I think your're perfect."
He spoke in a bare whisper, eyes widening in suprise as he let the words fly. That was meant to be a silent thought...
{{AWW! Poor little love-stoned Kuro}}

((Dear god, he's in it bad!))
Chewy blinked at his whispered words, vaguely aware that there was a reason to avoid such matters.
She was with Eiji. She loved Eiji. Eiji made her laugh, smile, pull all her usual guards down. Eiji was also a breakable human... Fragile. Almost the same to her as she apparently was to Kuro. Almost.
She just stared across the table at Kuro for a long time. With one sentence, to hr, he'd made clear how he felt.
Eventually, she stood up carefully, walking slowly around the table toward him.
"You want me to prove I'm not perfect...?" she murmured, her eyes never leaving him. She was standing a few feet from him, at this point, her hand extended. She was barely aware of what she was doing, and that it was wrong. She just knew how he made her feel, at that moment.
Like she mattered. Like she had something to prove.

Kuro watched her travel, noting the fluid grace of the movements as she shifted her position. Each step took her closer, closer still. It was dangerous. Too dangerous. He should move, step away. He didn't move an inch. In all truth, Kuro wasn't even sure if he could move anymore. She held him perfectly still, forzen and centered to a new point of gravity. His eyes slid slowly from her face to her outstrecthed hands, those pale, shaking cold hands. The hands he was meant to hold.
He knew what he should do, he should move. When things started to go wrong, the response was to move, to get away from it all. But here she was. Standing there. So close.
His breath was catching in his throat and his heartbeats raced, pumping the venom laced blood quickly through his body.
"W-what do you mean?"
He managed to choke out, trying to control the desire to reach out for her.
((He has, huh! Cookie if you catch the song refrence!)

She looked down at him, her control over her own actions gone.
"You're afraid." She murmured, her hand reaching out further, brushing against his warm cheek. "You don't need to be. Your blood holds no appeal to me, in truth. I never noticed before... Never got quite close enough." She could distantly tell that it was as if she was talking to herself. "I don't want you to fear me... And I don't want you to fear hurting me..."
Her hand rested against his face, caressing it.
"Do you trust me...?"

As her hands touched his face he took a deep breath, his hearts skipped a beat and then danced back into that beating, fast pace that betrayed his rush of emotions too easily.
Trust her?
Did he trust her? He considered it for a moment, half a heartbeat. Then the answer was simple, clear and honest. Yes. He'd put his life in her hands, and he trusted her to carry him home safely. And if she failed, and he fell... Well it would be okay. He'd forgive her and she wouldn't loose his faith.
"I trust you..."
He reached out a hand, encirling her tiny waist and pulling her closer. He slid the arm around her, while his hand reached up to cup her cheek, very gently.
"I'm nto afraid."
He murmured. There was no need for volume, not when they were this close.

"Good."
It was one word. One response to two statements. But there was so much in the soft word that she was sure that the whisper had been too loud.
At this point, another part of er had taken over entirely. Eiji was just a dream. A memory. Kuro was real, warm, and closer than she ever thought he would be.
She wasn't completely sure why, but the next thing she knew she was kissing him, her cold lips against his warm. The heat of him seemed to radiate through her as her hand on his cheek, along with her other hand, snaked around behind his neck, holding her solidly to him. He was less fragile than she'd thought...

Kuro couldn't beleive it when her cold lips were suddenly against his. He didn't protest though, even though some part of his mind told him that he should. That part of his mind sounded annoyingly like his sister, but he pushed it away and focused on the most important issue here ; ChiChu was kissing him.
His eyes closed and as she pulled him closer, moving the hand on her cheek down through her hair. His fingers ran through the inky locks without much though, simply enjoying the silky texture. Her lips, and her skin were icy but it was not an unpleasent sensation.
Minutes past, or maybe days... Kuro wasn't sure, and right now he couldn't have cared if the centuries had changed while he was lost in this perfect, beautiful moment.
{happy Kuro! lmao}

Chewy was soon lost as her lips and Kuro's shaped themselves to each other. Her fingers knotted in his hair, holding him to her. She had somehow ended up sitting on hi lap, her legs going to one side as she turned to face him.
The part of er that knew this was wrong-the part that was screaming at her- had soon quieted, like a yell lost in a louder wind. For the first time she was embracing someone and not worrying about being careful. Not worrying about hurting him, breaking him, strangling him. Not worrying about losing control and drinking is blood. None of her usual concerns applied when she was kissing Kuro, and for that she wanted more. He warmed her lips and from there the rest of her.
He made her feel almost human.
She wasn't sure how long they sat there, kissing, but eventually she pulled away, gasping for breath, her lips by his ear.
"Kuro..." She murmured, her hold on him not loosening.
