"Yup. My hair is still flawless, Ku. Chill."
Taira had noted just how angry her brother was getting and felt now was the time to step in. Before, Kuro burst out of his skin and it turned into a hell-fight right there in the gym. That wouldn't be good for anybody. Besides, Kuro always felt really bad if he killed people. Tairadenai didn't want to have to deal with him moping around for weeks and months. She'd have to cook so much of his favourite food, it would drive her crazy.
"Probably not the best time for guessing games Chuckles."
She pointed out calmly, though she had wrapped her own hands around Kuro's fists, holding them tightly as if to reassure the male that it was all okay. She could feel the rage enemating from him; it was making him tremble.
"Bloodsucker?"
Kuro snarled, though it was clearly more of an insult than a guess.
"Hey! How come you get to call Chuckles 'Bloodsucker' but I don't get to call the actual Bloodsucker, Bloodsucker?"
Taira suddenly demanded, but her question went unanswered. Kuro was too busy glaring.
"Not fair."
She muttered under her breath like a sulking child.

He snapped!
"What was that?!"
He growled, his whole body shaking with anger now. Quickly he shook off some of the anger, trying to prevent anything terrible from happening.
"I'm not a vampire. I'm an Evil angel. My middle name is 'Little' Make fun now while you can."
He sighed. Damn his mother for naming him that.
"Yes, I'm the Evil Little Angel!!!" He turned his body half way, ashamed at his own name.

Sometimes, just sometimes, Taira forgot what her brother was. For a moment it hardly entered her thoughts that he had demon blood coursing like posion through his viens. He'd dwindled down to just being her over-protective brother. However, she was reminded sharply in that instant Ashi's rage became apparant. A snarl ripped loose from Kuro's lips, and he moved suddenly. Taira was spun around his chest, so she now stood at his back. Kuro kept her there with one arm, the other arm thrown out in a warning for the other boy to keep his distance.
"That's a lame name you know. Evil Little Angel. I think Chuckles suits you better." "There's nothing wrong with vampires, it's you personally I have the problem with."
They spoke at the same time, the contrast between thier voices clear. Kuro's snarl mixed with Taira's chirp made an interesting harmony. Taira couldn't see what was going on, so she morphed inot a squirrel, and scrambled up to sit on Kuro's shoulder.
"Guys, seriously... Chill."
She sqeaked, curling her now bushy tail around Kuro's neck to help mantain balance.

"She's right."
He agreed almost automatically to Taira's voice. Ashi straightened up his position. There was one thing that got on his nerves though. And that was why her brother had an issue with him. And only when they just met.
"May I ask why you dread me so much?!"
His voice ringing with curiosity, he changed into an eagle. He jumped onto the table's edge, and bowed his head; ready to listen, and ready to fly if it got bad.
"Come on....I promise I won't cry!"
He chuckled once, and his beak snapped with it.

Taira shifted on Ashi's first question. She knew her brother too well, and knew how close he was to lunging at Ashi. She knew it was his desire to protect her, so logic suggested that the only way to prevent him was to put her in the path or destruction. So she rolled off his shoulder, into her human form. His arms caught her automatically, before there was even the possibility of her hitting the floor. Grinning, Taira threw her arms around his neck, and settled herself into a more comfortable position in the strong arms.
Kuro glanced down at her, clearly torn between holding her close or putting her down and tearing Ashi apart. Taira raised her eyebrows and he sighed; she wasn't going to let him put her down.
"You're dangerous."
Was all he said to Ashi. His tone was angry and harsh still, but there was less on an insulting sting to the words. Instead, it was as if he was sympathetic to the plight of the male. However, sympahty or not, Kuro was still reluctant to leave his sister in the other males presence.
"We should go Tee-" "Not yet."

Ashi winced back at the two stinging words, and lowered his head even more, changing himself back to a human.
"I know...."
He nearly cried in his whisper, and he got off the table. He walked up to the bleachers and jumped up to the window sill again.
"Maybe you should listen to your brother. Maybe I should just leave you alone Kit-- I mean Taira."
He lowered his head and looked out the window, turning into a black cat in the blink of an eye. He whispered quietly to himself.
"I'm going to miss calling you that."
A small dripping noise echoed throughout the whole room, sticking out more like a plane crashing in the silence that held. A tear.

Taira watched the exchange and sighed; heavily and deliberatley. She loved her brother and his impulsion to protect her, but sometimes she wanted to stab him. She occasionally fufilled this desire, knowing that he would heal easily and wouldn't hold it agaisnt her. This was one of those moments.
"You two are so lame."
She announced, freeing herself from Kuro's arms. She landed lightly on her feet, and marched over to the bleachers. She climbed to the highest point in her human form and then spun around, able to see both males from this perspective.
"Right. Her'es the thing ladies, I make my own choices. So you can both tell me to stay away as much as you want, becuase guess what? I really won't listen. I do what I want, 'kay?"
She paused, letting her glare pass between her brother and Ashi. Kuro watched carefully.
"Oh, and as for this whole 'dangerous' thing... Pur-lease. We're all linked with devils and demons, which makes us a trio of dangerous evil-ness... Besides, we all know I can kick Ashi-boy's ass if I wanted to. So how about you idiots stop ruining my evening, before I have to kill you both.... Are we clear?"
She narrowed her gaze, hands on hips.
Kuro paused, tense and still ready to kill. He met his sisters glare for a few moments, and then he grinned suddenly.
"Whatever you say Tee."
He chuckled, and was rewarded by his sister flying back into his arms and pressing a kiss to his cheek. He hugged her close and then set her back on her feet gently.
"You rock bro."
She whispered breifly, and then turned back to find Ashi.
"You still crying?"

"Who's crying...I just spit!"
He let out a roaring laugh, and fell off the ledge, landing on his tip-toes as a black panther.
"AHAHAHAHAH, I C-CAN'T BELIEVE YOU THOUGHT I WAS CRYING!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAH"
His laugh came out a a scattered roar, and he fell onto his side laughing still.
"Woo! Oh, that was good. I don't cry."
Ashi wiped his eye with his index finger, and lifted it up to Taira's eye level.
"See."
His voice was now careful, and pure.
"It's not a tear."
He held his breath to take in Taira's response at his tears not being tears. But blood. H cries blood, and only that. He put his finger up to his mouth and shut his eyes, and licked the blood off.

"Whoa! Calm down there Chuckles."
She leant back instinctively from his loud, roaring laughter, grateful to have Kuro standing like a rock behind her to support her shifted weight. He placed a hand on her arm to steady her, though his grip tightened as the drop of blood was suddenly pushed up to Taira's eye-level. It was easy to say he wouldn't hold any grudges, but when Ashi was so close, and apparanley insane, it made it harder to resist hurting him.
"Blood, okay- EW!"
Her sentence was cut off as Ashi licked the blood/tear off his finger. She reached out and slapped at his hand.
"That was nasty."

Ashi instinctively snatched Taira's hand from his, and looked at it. He looked at her brother, Kuro, in a apologetic way and let her hand fall. Besides, he didn't know what to do when her cold skin hit his.
"Sorry I disgust you. Although, I'm used to doing that to people. I disgust mostly everyone."
He looked away and licked off the little bit of dry blood remaining on his cheek, where the thing had fallen.
"I'm sorry for even mixing you up with my disgusting self. Kuro, I'm sorry you hate me so."
He crouched down, and bound his legs, placing himself at a different window.

Kuro bit back the growl that threatened to escape as Taira's hand was captured. Taira simply arched any eyebrow as her cold hand was studied, and then dropped. She rolled her eyes at his words.
"You are disgusting creature."
She remarked idly as he licked the blood from his, but she laughed. She was realising how prone to over-reaction Ashi was, and it amused her as well as irritating her. She followed his movement as he leapt to the windowsil, and clicked her tongue in annoyance.
"What is it with him and windowsills?"
Kuro murmured in her ear and Taira just shrugged.
"He's whiney. Like you."
She teased, and nudged him in the ribs. Kuro muttered something, in low and rapid tones. Taira responded, and suddenly there was a rushing, hushed flow of words between the pair. It was impossible to hear what they were saying, for besides the pitch and speed the language had changed. It was a strange shaping of words, unlike any other language but ti was as natural to the pair of them as their dual heartbeats.
The conversation reached an end, and Kuro kissed her head, muttered one final incomprehensible comment and was gone from the gym. Taira watched him leave, before turning back to Ashi.
"You can get down now Chuckles!"

"IS HE GONNA EAT ME?! HOW DO I KNOW IT'S NOT A TRICK!!!"
He yelled, echoing it off the walls. He pushed is aside and jumped down, making no more than a mere tap as he hit the floor.
"what was with all the chitter-chatter?! Did something go wrong?"
Ashi questioned, then yawned; his fangs extending just the slightest bit, snapping together when his mouth shut.
"Or were you discussing my death today....Tonight?!"

Taira folded her arms across her chest and tapped her foot as she watched the boy leap down after his mad yelling.
"You are such a dramaqueen Chuckles."
She paused before responding to his next statement. She couldn't exactly tell him what the chitter-chatter was about, but she knew if she didn't provide a decent answer then he was likely to pry.
"Nothing really. Just me, reminding Kuro... Of some stuff."
She didn't pull of the nochalance as well as she'd hoped, and she was sure he was going to ask questions. She smiled at him suddenly, rolling her eyes at his last comment.
"No Chuckles, we weren't planning your death."
She reassured him, and shrugged her shoulders.
"Besides, we don't need planning to pull off murder. It's our nature."

"Some...Stuff? What kinda stuff."
He urged her on, and brushed his cheek against her shoulder.
"Tell me kitty....Please?"
He purred in her ear, and changed into a mouse, planting himself on her shoulder. He was very hard to trick, and he always wanted information on things people wouldn't tell him.

"Twin stuff."
She deflected the question, her voice slighlty sharper than she had originally intended it to be. She couldn't help it though. The relationship she shared with her brother was a difficult one. It was built on love, trust, and faith but it was also weaved with fear, secrets and lies. It was deflty woven, a one of a kind original. There was nothing to compare it to. They were one soul; the same mistake just packaged differently. The twins had shared so much, dealt with so much and come out standing side by side. There were secrets she just couldn't tell. Secrets that shouldn't be told. Prehaps that's why they still held onto their own language, one they had created and fabricated to suit.
However, Ashi had allready confided his sin in her, and trusted her. She wasn't willing to throw that back in his face, by refusing to talk. It wouldn't be fair - not that she fought fair.
"It's just... Oh, don't worry. It's nothing to do with you. All in the past, no worries Chuckles?"

Ashi sighed, and changed back into a human, his chin resting on Taira's shoulder.
"Fine. You're right."
He murmured in her ear, and cracked his knuckles. It was one thing of knowing, and another of budding into an uninvited conversation. He took in a deep breathe, and caught it just as fast. He nearly gagged at Taira's blood pumping, and his cheek against her throat.
His black eye became red to match the other, and his fangs scrapped against each other as his jaw forced itself open.
"Tai...ra!!!"
He managed to whisper in anger at himself, and at the scent she was giving off. It was unlike anything he'd had before. Was it because he'd been living on animals? Or something extremely different. He took a slight step forward, putting his chest against her back, but tried to stop. Nothing, not even his will was working.
"TAIRA!!!"
He screamed her name in a low hissing shriek, and his lips skimmed the hollow of her throat. Ashi's mouth opened once more and he was just about to snap his fangs around Taira's neck.

Taira sighed softly with relief as he dropped the subject, she'd worried her'd press her for answers and she'd have to drop-kick his sorry shape back into the dorm. Her releif was such that she allowed him to rest his chin on her shoulder, where-as normally that was too close for comfort. She stayed silent, only arching her eyebrows as he choked out his name. Damn. She knew she was good, but still... Chuckles was getting a tad over-excited for jsut standing there.
Then as he shreiked her name, she picked up on the difference of the tones. That was longing, but of a different kind. He was going to try- NO!
She moved then, so suddenly that she was nothing more than a blur. She dropped from human form to the Cheetah in that milisecond, so that Ashi's fangs snapped on thin air. She wasted no time, streaking to the far wall and changing into the golden monkey as she leapt up the walls. She was up on the rafters within a moment, back in her human form, but ready to move in a heartbeat.
She glared at him.
"Are you CRAZY?"
She demanded, her voice harsh and cold.
"My blood is poisionous you idiot!"
She snarled.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!" He was insane, skipping three weeks of his diet wasn't good. His stomach could digest the most vilest of poisons and things. His body shook fiercely, and his voice was echoed, not from bouncing off the walls, more of a demonic sound. "Ah, but my stomach is stronger than any others. Eheheheh....And you, you smell so delicious! Your blood is so thick!, it stings!" He growled and took another dangerous step forward, still chuckling to himself. "Kitty! Help!" His normal, familiar voice called to Taira, in pain. He didn't want to hurt her, and he was sure he would get killed afterwords anyway; but he didn't want to be covered in her thick blood.

Fire blazed in Taira's eyes, as her body registered a potential threat. She snarled something in a deep, gutteral language and moved carefully along the rafters, watching Ashi warily.
"Kuro was right, he is dangerous."
She murmured softly, as she considered her options. Run? Fight? Call for Kuro and watch a murder? Let him d rink her blood? None of those options appealed to her. Her thoughts were interuppted by the pained words that followed the madness. Anybody else would have flinched, but Taira was sinking into a colder level of calm.
"I'm working on it Chuckles..."
She spoke softly, still thinking. THINK!

Ashi stumbled forward another step, but held back this time. He gasped in breathes, and held his hands around his neck, choking himself. He leaned in, and fell to his knees; one hand on his throat and one on the ground. Is claws in his skin, and chipping the wooden floor.
"Do....something...please! It burns!"
He voice rasped out in pain, as his claws extended to the fullest, and the whole gym floor nearly shattered, to where his neck was bleeding. His wrist was facing down, yes, but it glowed the lightest shade of blue, and they both heard a tearing noise.
Ashi's shirt had torn, and his raven wings were at his side.
"Better, eh, yet....Kill me!"
His words shocked him, but he knew it would come sooner or later.
