Reikon was slumped against the cold wall in the dark basement of the Hive. His deep brown eyes were almost grey they were so dead, and he didn't seem to move at all, except for the occasional breath he took.
He didn't bother to look around the room, he had been down there long enough to realize that cement and chains weren't interesting in the slightest, and that nothing ever moved down there.
He never moved any part of his body, mostly because the floor around him was freezing, and partialy because if he moved, it would remind him that he's still alive and alone as ever.
He continued to stare down at his lap, the shadows laying over him like a blanket.

Hebi knew the halls better than anyone. Better then she knew anything. Not even her brother could compare. This thought often made her smile. As dark as tunnels were, Hebi needed no aid, no light. She knew where it all was.
Including the basement- AKA, the holding cells.
Reikon Hatsu was a secret weapon, of sorts. If someone was disloyal or threatens the Hive, they saw him. It was the best threat Hebi could find without actually killing the person.
And that was where She was headed to, right then. It was deep, but close enough. She got there with no trouble, using her steal-like nails to unlock the door.
"Reikon," She called. "You getting lonely?"

Reikon didn't need to lift his head to know who that hissy, cold voice belonged to.
He was silent for a long time before he spoke in his gruff, un-used tone. "I was lonely ten years ago...now it's just empty..." He finally looked up at her, only moving his stone cold eyes.
"Why are you here, Hebi Yaiba? Come to feed me that shit they call food?"

"No, not this time," Hebi smiled, as if this boy's bitterness was comforting. Amusing. Hebi truly was messed up in the head, sometimes.
"I just got bored. Plotting a take over does that to you, sometimes." Her voice was full of nonchalance as she made her way down a set of stairs. She pulled a lighter out instinctively, once she ran out of steps, her hand automatically finding the lone torch in the chamber. For the most part, the tunnels were wired with electricity- thanks to Mimi and a few other similarly marked Hive members. But the basement was not included in that luxury. Instead, torches were placed in most of those lower, deepest chambers.
Hebi lit the torch easily, then her eyes took barely a second to adjust before they found Reikon.
"You know we don't like keeping you down here, but what can we do? You're too dangerous." She shrugged her shoulders and walked back to the stairs, sitting down on the last step. "I thought you might like to celebrate. It's been a whole year since they've stopped looking for you. The teachers don't recall your name, and we've managed to hack in and clear all record of you from the police data base. No one remembers that you're missing. It's like you never existed. Isn't that wonderful!"
The word came out in a hiss, Hebi's eyes growing wide, wild, and excited. Everything about this was a thrill to her. Every fact like an addicting drug. She'd screwed the system. She'd proven, by stealing one person from the world, that she and her Hive could outsmart the mortals. Her brother's plan to take over the school would be nothing compared to what she would do. No one would see it coming.
How the hell she got this logic from making one marked boy disappear off the face of the earth- literally, for he was now way underground -was anyone's guess. But, hey; you gotta start somewhere!
