Kuro had watched the exchange silently, saying nothing. He'd simply watched the girls plot and scheme. Whoever came up with the saying about girls being evil, had it about right really. Ladies may be lovely in most respects, but they really shouldn't be messed with.
"Oh, she's very devious."
Kuro agreed with Venus, hugging Taira close for a moment and kissing the top of her head. She'd make her daddy proud- the smile on his face died. Taira noted the emotions flicker across his face, and guessed his train of thought. She shook her head slightly, and offered him a smile. He returned it.
"So you think it will work?"
Taira asked, turning back to face Venus.

"Oh, yes." Venus nodded. "It'll work. You can deal with Mimi- I'm sure you already have an idea for how you're going to break the news to her. If we're lucky, she'll be just peeved enough to comply. And, uh... If you tell her that thing about the pants, I'm sure she'd be all to willing. I don't think she'd appreciate such an act."
Venus smiled. This was going to be better than she'd hoped. She needed a minor plan to detract her from the larger plottings of the hive.
((Do you find it funny that our charries are plotting with each other against our own tiwnzies?))

"No. No pants. We need to keep her attention directed towards punishing Tsuki, not lover-boy. You know how emotional she can get, and we don't an argument leading to a break-up to unbalance her..."
Taira realised that the second part to their scheme all depened on the blonde's emotional capabilites. Which was a risky thing to bet on, seeing how the slightest thing could alter her mood.
"Besides, we need to keep her calm enough that she won't blurt it all out to Hebi, right?" "What do you think our favourite little serpent would do if she found out you were planning this?"
Kuro asked, arching an eyebrow.
ooc: Yup, all fun stuff. I'll add the Mimi/Taira conversation in a flashback somewhere or something...

((Ok, cool ^.^))
"I think she'd send us to Reikon," Venus started out, flinching at their leaders preferred form of punishment. "Then she'd snoop into all the records we make of this. Then ask us what the hell we were doing."
Her voice showed no true worry; it was a statement of fact. If Hebi found out, they'd be screwed for not filling her in. But then, if what they found out was vital enough...
"She might not, though." Venus said, quieter this time. "If we find out something about them that Hebi might deem useful, we might get by unscathed. We might even get on of her rare praises. We'll just have to make sure she doesn't find out about us before we find out about Tsuki and her twin."

Reikon.
Taira and Kuro exchanged a glance. They were always curious about the boy. To see if his abilities would actually work on them, to see if they actually had souls. Not curious enough to test the theory though...Taira was pretty confident he'd damage her, as was Kuro.
"She won't put you near him."
He growled dangerously. He would take her far away before that happened, and he would kill anybody who tried such a stunt. It was just not happening. Taira squeezed his hand, a reminder to stay calm. He let go of the anger.
"We'd better hope we find something good then... Any idea's what we're looking for?"

"Oh, that's easy," Venus said with a dismissive flick of her hand. "We need to find out who her family is and whether they're linked to any powerful markeds directly or if they're even human. We need to find out what they know and whether it's a threat. We need to find out why little-miss Tsuki is suddenly so special."
She grinned at Taira and Kuro. There truly was an art to evil, and it seemed as though the Hive and Hell ad taught these daughters of darkness and the gods just enough. If she'd befriended someone besides Hebi and Taira freshman year, she would have surely been different. Good thing fate stepped in.

"I'm pretty sure they're going to be human, Tsuki smells human."
Taira observed, scrunching up her nose for a moment. Her abilties to shape-shift meant Taira had picked up on a few things. She still had the animal's abilities and instincts while she was mimicing her shape. Her canine forms had aqquainted her with the idea of scent, and Tsuki didn't smell very different to everyone else. Just slightly, icier.
"Abnormal. Got it."
Kuro confirmed, curious to how much of a challenge it would be to reach the records. He did like a challenge sometimes, but there were few around for him.
"You know what though? She'll probabbly tell us at somepoint anyway. Seeing how we're her friends and all..."
Taira observed calmly, leaning back against her brothers wieght, using him as her own personal pillow for the time being.

"She might," Venus allowed, wrinkling her nose at the idea. "But where would the fun be in that, hmm? And she might not. Not everything, anyway. I don't like taking chances- you know that. So, it doesn't matter. If she tells us, we have confirmation and answers. Until- or if -she does, does, we'll find out what we can. I am NOT going to be kept in the dark..."
She smiled. Someone really should tell her that she doesn't really have a good sense of humor. But it was part of who Venus was, so who cares?

Kuro rolled his eyes at her words. It seemed to him as if they were all over-reacting a tad. Where two teenage girls really such a threat, Marked or no? He didn't doubt they were any less breakable together than they had been apart, and if they were really such a menance, why weren't they just killed. He'd seen enough of Hebi and the Hive to know how easily the serpent girl would dispose of those who displeased her. It just seemed a little ridiculous for the girls to go to all that trouble. He didn't voice any of this though, let them plan. Venus was clearly taken with the idea, he wouldn't burst her bubble.
"Chillax V, we'll find it out. If I'm following her, Kuro's searching through her records and Mimi will be building a tracker for the girl....But what are you going to be doing?"
Taira asked, arching a curious eyebrow. She knew Venus's lack fo sigh could hinder her and prevent her from completing certain tasks, but Taira also knew her friend wouldn't want to be sat twiddling her thumbs while everything was happening.

Venus smiled at her friends comment, leaning back casually on the bed.
"Well, some one has to keep Moon-girl unaware of what we're doing. Think of me as... the inside man. Woman- whatever. I'll make sure she thinks everything is normal and I can get anything you guess need from her that you can't- materially, of course. And I might be able to get a bit more information, but probably not much. And, of course, you guys will be reporting everything you hear to me so I can think over it and plan the next move. I'll have plenty to do, trust me."
Her feat tapped on the floor, her heals making click-clopping sounds that was normal for her. She was fairly at ease, now, her mood fairly light.
"Come on, Kuro! Smile!" She chided, sensing the less-than-euphoric expression on his face. "Aren't you excited that we're going to have some fun? It's not like you have anything better to do with your time, aside from protecting your sister, right? Be happy! You don't have to be bored!"

Taira clicked her tongue softly, the simple sound enough to let Venus know she understood and had no real issues with that plan. She didn't voice any other words, allready realising just how tedious it was likely to be following Tsuki around. The intial rush about the idea was ebbing away, and now her thoughts were much more practical. It really wasn't an appealing idea to stalk Tsuki and her new-found twin across campus while listening to their innane chatter in the hopes something useful would arise. She sighed softly, and then bit her lip as Venus spoke her final words.
Kuro's eyes narrowed a fraction, but it was a warning sign none the less. It was just a pity Venus wasn't aware of it. Taira was though, and she tightened her grip on his hand as a warning of her own. A warning that went a little somthing like 'remember, you don't want to kill people'. Or at least that was the general kist of it.
"Stalking people becuase you're a control freak isn't really my idea of fun."
He drawled, and then rose easily to his feet, lifting Taira from perch in the same movement. He set her on her feet, and she raised her eyebrows. There was a breif exchange of words between the pair as they reverted to their own tongue, Taira's tone a much lighter sound than Kuro's almost growling. Taira sighed, and rolled her eyes before punching him on the forearm, though it was more an affectionate action than an itention to harm. He muttered something and was then gone from her room. Taira shook her head at his departure and then turned back to Venus.
"Too familiar there V. You shouldn't have spoken to him like that..."
She observed lightly, sitting down on the bed beside the blinde girl.

Venus's eyebrows knitted together at the boys apparent irritation. She tilted her head during the twin's exchanged words. It confused her- that was clear. She hadn't meant to say anything offensive.
"Well he didn't have to get all upset." Venus shook her head, feeling the bed shift as Taira sat down beside her. "What's his problem?"

"Like I said, you were too familair. You forget, my brother spends a great deal of time making sure people don't get close to him. You're words were too friendly in a way, reminded him. So he left."
She explained easily, flicking the curls away from her face. No doubt her brother was off to find the bloodsucker, somebody who he wouldn't break. She wished he would break her, snap her like a twig. A soft growl threatened to escape, but she kept it trapped. It wouldn't be good to be growling.
"Remember Venus, just becuase was play nice doesn't mean we actually are..."

Venus sighed in resignation and shook her head.
"Oh well..." She said, the idea still unnerving. She really hadn't meant to offend anyone. She noted it for future reference that a repeat of the act would be a tactical error on her part. A mistake not to be repeated. She didn't need enemies- at least not ones who knew they were her enemies.
"You don't think I'm a control freak, do you?" She asked. She hated such a label, though there was a touch of truth to it. She didn't like being labeled so negatively... at least not when she hadn't caused the label on purpose.

Taira didn't bother trying to explain any further. Humans rarely understood, and sometimes she wasn't even sure if she understood it herself sometimes. This half-breed stuff had all it's perks, but it also had it's fair share of downsides. Not that she'd let anybody call her a half-breed, she'd shred them to peices where they stood. Or sat. No matter what position they happened to be in, they'd die the same, painful death. It was just a matter of fact. She had to laugh softly at Venus's words though, it was just such a strange question to fly from the blonde girls lips. So... teenage. And normal.
"Well, I wouldn't use the term control freak, it's not quite fitting. You do have a tendency to plan even the smallest of details though...Effecient, not nessicarily a bad thing."
She said eventually, a slight laugh rolling off the words.

Venus smiled at what Taira said. If there was anything she didn't want to be thought of as was a 'control freak'. It wasn't her fault that she liked to think things out with detailed plans and... well... win. It was the damned insignia on her wrist. It was true that the only reason she knew the mark was there was that she could feel it warm up, sometimes, and that people told her it was there. Otherwise, control freak might have been acceptable. But she couldn't control her impulsive plotting; it was who she was on the most molecular and supernatural level.
"Well, it's not like I can change that." She shrugged, smiling for Taira. Sometimes it was best to let some things slid, if not just a little. "He'll just have to get over it. I can't do a thing about it, just like you guys can't really do anything about who you are. You know?"

"I see your point."
Taira lay back on the bed, stretching out her form with a yawn. It was an act, she'd never yawned once in her life. It was just another habit she'd picked up when masqeurading as human. People yawned when they were tired. It was something she had noticed, and often matched the sound with stretching, something else she had witnessed many times. Taira didn't have to pretend to be human at Athena, but she didn't give up the traits. They were a little more of humanity to cling on to, something to remind her that she had every right to walk on this earth. She was half demon, so that made her half human too. People conveintly forgot this when they were trying to have her 'sent back to where she belonged', which was partly why Taira was intending to make them all suffer. Revenge. Petty revenge maybe, but revenge none the less.
"Though technically, we can change, to some extent. We allready have. You don't catch me eating human flesh, or Kuro commiting mass homocide for kicks. Though we do enjoy burning down holy buildings, but that's just a hobby."
She observed in a detatched, calm tone of voice. It wasn't a big deal really, but sometimes Taira liked to ackowledge the fact she was different from everybody else. That she still had more freedom, she could make her choices. Though that was more to do with her species than her Mark. Her abilties had overwhelmed her when she was little, where she'd shift the moment her emotions changed. Now she was in control.
"He won't make a big deal out of it. He's just gone for a run."
Taira was a flawless liar, her body betrayed nothing. Her heartbeats stayed the same, and her tones were level. She was one of the only people who could lie to Venus, for that reason. Besides, it wasn't really a lie. Taira knew perfectly well her brother had gone straight to find his bloodsucker, but he had likely run there. So she wans't really lying at all. Just shaping the truth more to her liking. She was very good at that.
